Ronnie Feig from New York’s own David Z is probably Asics’ most prolific collaborator. He has designed eight Gel Lyte IIIs for David Z, along with a few others and here are some samples that may or may not be next in line. Key among these is a white, black, orange and blue pair that keeps it Knicks/Mets. There are also pairs in red/yellow and blue/green/grey. If you chop off the heel of a sneaker and replace it with a piece of wristband, surely it’d be a bit less weighty. But, ‘So light!’? That’s the claim from the new Nike Sportswear WMNS Air Troupe Mid pictured above. Maybe the slogan refers to the multicoloured nebula print on the side panels, which seems to be emitting the entire spectrum of visible light. In any case, these crazy kicks are available now from Colette.
Edit: This sneaker is the Nike Air Troupe, not ‘Trouble’ as written on the Colette website.

Kobe Bryant’s Asian tour rolls on with a special installation at the already impressive Nike 6453 TPE store in Taipei. The glass front room at 6453 is always a showcase and in Kobe’s honour, a massive four-fingered, four-ringed MVPuppet hand blocks the rest of the view. Inside, we see some of the best kicks from KB24′s brilliant NBA career, plus some amazing colourways that have yet to be released. Notable among these are the cracked Zoom Kobe Is and a bunch of Olympic colourups. If you’re in the area, you can design your own Nike Zoom Kobe IV at the Nike iD Studio to rival some of the best we’ve seen. Kobe is quoted as saying he wants to play till he’s 40 on a wall overlooking a tabletop video installation. The Nike Blazer design concepts just keep getting crazier and crazier. This latest Blazer High sports one of the most creative and ambitious designs yet. The shoe features a completely illustrated upper that flaunts various colors and drawings, including the actual Swoosh. To balance out the colorful shades of red, pink and purple, the kicks also use some white highlights and a healthy dose of black on the toe box, midsole and laces, as well as the outlines around the drawings on the upper. Diddy showed up to the Late Show with David Letterman this past week wearing a pair of crispy all Black adidas Superstar’s aka shell toes. Diddy who discussed his new MTV show, Making His Band, that is set to premiere on Monday, July 27th at 10 PM. The Hip-Hop mogul has also recently been seen in some Air Yeezy’s on a number of occasions, but it seems Diddy wanted to tone it down a little bit for the Late Show. Check out what R&B singer, Ginuwine, wore when he arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theater for the Late Show, after the jump.

We saw a 60+ Points DMP of Air Jordan 1 Retro Highs and there’s a whole slew of 60+ colourways of the original on the way. It’s time now for the ‘original’ colourway of the shoe that started this scoring celebration. The Air Jordan 60+ comes to us in a mix of black suede and faux snakeskin. Expect touches of varsity red and white like the Chicago Bulls uniforms MJ wore during the various years represented in this mashup. They’re slated for an August 15th wide release, but Vault got ‘em early and you can also find them on ebay now.

Chris Paul isn’t the only number 3 with Jordan Brand anymore. With his third signature shoe on the way for next season, this China-exclusive design serves as a great sendoff for the second. The Jordan CP3.II pictured above has a white leather forefoot contrasted by black on the rear quarter. Touches of gold and bright blue come in on the CP3.II’s signature swirly heel and tie in the lining, quilting and parts of the sole. No word yet on a release and they’ll probably never make it stateside, but we’ll let you know when and where you can cop these as soon as possible. via Yaxin-Sports

We’ve seen home and away PEs of the Nike Hyperdunk and an away PE of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV, so this latest special colourup for Harlem’s Rice High School is only natural. The Nike Zoom Kobe IV in its Rice HS Home PE colourway is heavier on the green than its road counterpart. You can tell that these were intended for the friendly floor because of the white midsole and toe. FlightClub reports these will see a September release, so we’ll keep you posted.

We’ve seen photos of the upcoming Nike Sky Force High both with and without Tecmo Bo tongue tags. The release version of the shoe pictured above makes us fear for the worst. While the Air Trainer TW IIs have retained the legendary 8-bit character, this new Nike Blazer High only has pixels on the upper. It still looks great in tonal blues that evoke the classic Kansas City Royals uniforms Bo’s biceps once stretched, but these have been released with a standard tongue tag. If that’s not too much for you to lose, grab them today from Nike Sportswear retailers like Sneaker Bistro.

The Air Max 90 is such a classic style that, frankly, it’s hard to get it wrong when coming up with new color combinations. This latest version offers something for the ladies with a striking colorway and some interesting touches. The shoe features a Black and White suede/mesh upper with some vibrant Red Plum accents spread around to create a very nice contrast. In addition to the vibrant color scheme, the most noteworthy aspect of these kicks is the coloring of the midsole, in which the back half of the section surrounding the Air bubble is Red Plum and the front is White.
