The first time we saw the Air Jordan 60+ (Sixty Plus) in real photos was on the feet of Carmelo Anthony’s high school alma mater, Oak Hill Academy. It’s only fitting, then, to take the model that celebrates MJ’s most prolific scoring outputs back to the place where his competitive fire was lit. These clearly resemble the Air Jordan V (5) Retro edition that also celebrated Wilmington, NC’s Laney High School, using a white, blue and yellow palette to enhance the retro vibe. They should be available soon at LaceLocked and other select Jordan retailers, so stick with Sneaker News for updates.

These are tough. they got that sick Laney High color. Another thing I love about these is the clear bottoms. Clear bottoms are one of the best features on footwear that has them. I don’t think I’m gonna cop these though even though they are fresh to death. The 60+ just isn’t doing ti for me.

everytime i see them i just keep wishing they brought out the laney 5′s this colorway is ok i just cant see myself buying them thinking they are the 5′s

These types of Jordans are for the new heads in the game so these will all sell no matter how much we complain!
