With a long history of culture and success, VANS is taking it all back to where it started as a skate and snowboarding brand, before becoming a fashion necessity around the world. VANS has released a pack to resemble those which came forth from the brand’s debut. The shoes selected are the popular Era Slip On, but also the Old Skool 77 and Mid Skool 77, which are a remake of the original VANS shoe, the Style 36. Each shoe is composed of suede and canvas uppers, and dons primary colors, similar to their predecessors from the 70’s. VANS has not forgotten about packaging; the pack’s boxes are designed to look dated, featuring nostalgic VANS ad imagery along with the slogan, “The World’s First Skateboard Shoes.” Via FreshnessMag.
