So far, the Nike Air Hoop Structure has received a warm welcome, especially thanks to the recent OG Air Structure Triax ’91 colorway, but as you may already be aware of, there are still some pretty juicy versions on the way. We first previewed this Black/Varsity Red colorway back in February, and at the time, the photos of the shoe appeared to have Infrared accents. Much to our dismay, the retail version will be using Varsity Red instead. The shoe still looks great and definitely has an Air Jordan VI feel courtesy of the color scheme and ankle bubble, but it seems like a shame that the Infrared has been replaced. Nothing is ever final until they hit stores, so you never know, but with a September release planned, it seems unlikely that any change will be made. Let us know what you think about the switch after getting a closer look after the jump.
