Two brands that have made some major contributions to urban style and culture during their lifespans are both celebrating significant anniversaries this year. Pioneering hip-hop label Def Jam is turning 25 this year, while adidas will mark its 60th anniversary. With adidas kicks and classic hip-hop going hand in hand, it made perfect sense to team up for a co-celebration of the respective milestones. Def Jam and adidas have joined forces to co-brand some anniversary editions of a few of adidas’s classic models. The first batch consists of a red and gold Forum and a black and red Stan Smith. Both feature Def Jam and adidas branding, as well as a special “AD.60.DJ.25” logo in recognition of the double anniversary. If you are a fan of Def Jam, adidas or both, you can find the kicks now at ShuhYou.
