The Nike Air Pegasus 89 has gotten more press lately, but it would’t exist without these literal forerunners. The Nike Air Pegasus GX is a long throwback, back to the days of waffle soles and steep wedge heels. They’re done in a mix of nylon and suede, two muted fabrics that allow the Swooshes to explode from the side panels. There’s a pair in emerald/plum and another in purple/volt, both now at Size?
