This year, Nike and Jordan Brand will once again team up with the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital for another round of special Freestyle releases. Following the amazing Air Jordan 1 designed last year by Tony Taylor Jr., this year will see the release of a Doernbecher Freestyle edition of the Air Jordan VI. The shoe sports an Olympic-like color scheme with a navy blue suede upper accented by red and gold highlights. As with many of the other Doernbecher kicks, the shoe also features some detailed graphics and designs on the upper and both heels have an embroidered number 1 in a circle. As a final touch, the question “What Time Is It?” and the answer, “Game Time!” are include on labels inside the tongue of each shoe. Doernbecher releases usually drop in late fall, but you can already find a pair early courtesy of MarqueeSole.
