Before you get too excited at the site of this incredible version of the Air Jordan V, be aware that unfortunately, these are only a look-see sample. They were produced as a potential Spring ’09 release, but for whatever reason, never saw the light of day. It seems a shame because this is looking like the kind of colorway that had the potential to be an instant classic. For starters, the shoe sports a White/Black/Varsity Red color scheme that is always a crowd favorite with Jordan-heads, but there are also some added touches that give this edition of the Air Jordan V some personality of its own. The red outline around the “shark’s tooth” section of the midsole and the embroidered eyeball graphic on the side of the upper were already seen on the military-inspired Grey Nurse version of the AJF 5, but knowing how a lot of people feel about Fusions, it would have been nice to see the concept used on a Retro model as well. Sadly, it’s looking like the boat has already sailed for these, but you can at least check out some pics of what could have been after the jump, and stay tuned in case anything changes in terms of a possible release. I think there hot but lose the damn shark I mane. I like the red trim thats kind of different from the originals and the red toe thats hot. But I still love the og 5

Love the colorway, but not a fan of the stupid little eye. I definitely like the different use of the red and black in this one though.
