Nike Air Max LeBron VII Black Metallic Gold Upcoming Colorway

In addition to the unveiling of the new Air Max LeBron VII in Akron last Friday, we also got a sneak peek at a few more upcoming colorways of the shoe. This pair keeps it super-slick with a black on black color scheme, but rather than the straight “triple black” look that previous LeBron kicks have sported, these throw in some hints of metallic gold to flash things up a bit. Shiny metallic gold touches on the L23 logo button, lace loops and surrounding the Swoosh give these kicks some real style and provide a nice complement to the simplicity of the color scheme. Exact release info for this Air Max LeBron VII colorway is still unknown, but they will definitely be dropping in the coming months, so stay tuned for further info and be sure to check out some more detailed pics after the jump.

  2. whatup Says:

they want to look like the Air Jordan 2009 Lebron plz dont try with MJ MEN>

  3. jr_lyon Says:

These look nothing like any Jordans. You people that say that are out of you f-in minds!!! Do Jordans have a swoosh? Do Jordans have an Air Max bubble? Do Jordans have flywire? In what way do these look like Jordans?! On another note… I love these! I haven’t seen a colorway that I don’t like! I will definately be getting every colorway I can afford and get my hands on!

  6. Smokey 318 Says:

by the colorway, it does look like the air jordan 2k9 that came out on fligh club a while back.

  7. 5ivedawg Says:

correction to KID ZILLA: FROM THE FRONT these DO look like Jordans. but from the side they don’t AT ALL. these are actually kinda dope. i wanna see some all whites and a cavs colorway. not red white and black. that follows the JORDAN METHOD. ain’t shit with the cavs red, white and black.

  8. Yoda Says:

These look nothing like the 2K9 Jordan model…they look like the next LJ23 model you dopes. This color way is a no no though. More Cavs color ways!
    puff..puff..pass…

  9. sneak'r'sole Says:

    copped.. next to home cw..

  10. AZ Says:

if anything they look a little (and i mean a little) like air pips. i can’t see any similarity to jordans whatsoever.

VIIs are growing on me i have to admit

  11. TL Says:

jr_lyon I understand what you are saying, but they do have the same overall shape as the 2009′s. Not to mention nike used the same poor ass leather on these. If you actually ball in the 2009′s, after they start to crease, the leather starts to break down real fast, chipping in certain spots. If I’m going to be dropping $165+ on these I want them to be well worth every penny. I honestly don’t know what the fuss is with these anyway. Ever since the Lebron II everything has been a step down!!!
