Air Jordan Force Fusion IV (4) Black Varsity Red Stealth Available

Many Fusion haters seem to be letting down their guards when it comes to the Air Jordan Force Fusion IV. Aside from the Air Force 1 midsole, the rest of the shoe is nearly identical to the original design, making it hard to find too much to complain about when it comes to these. Many will make the point that producing new alternate versions of classics like the Air Jordan IV somehow cheapens the legacy of the originals, but sometimes when you can’t beat them, you’d might as well join them. As far as Fusions go, this Black/Varsity Red/Stealth colorway of the Air Jordan Force Fusion IV does justice to the OG model at a level that will be hard to top, not to mention hard to pass up.

We know how many of you loathe the concept of Fusions and everything about them, but when you’re looking at these in the store next month, it might be more difficult than you’d expect to ignore the fact that they are so similar to the original Air Jordan IV’s, which are one of the most beloved Air Jordan models of all-time. Those who are not swayed by the Fusion factor can already get a pair from 95soleman on eBay.

Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Anthracite Black Hot Red New Images

A lot of sneakerheads were very excited about the return of the Air Griffey Max 1 in its original Black/Fresh Water and Royal/Volt colorways and from the initial feedback, it appears that this new version will be just as eagerly embraced when it hits stores this fall. The shoe sports a Black leather/suede upper with a White midsole and some splashes of Hot Red spread throughout. As with the others, there are some personal Ken Griffey Jr. touches like the large White number 24 on the ankle strap and the baseball design on the bottom of the outsole. This new colorway is expected to arrive at select retailers in October, but as usual, Osneaker has some pairs in stock early, so act fast if you want to be among the first to be rocking these beauties.

Nike Hyperdunk Eggplant + Metallic Gold Available

Back in June, images surfaced of two new Hyperdunk colorways that appeared to have taken some cues from some classic Foamposite models. The Hyperdunk is returning again in two of its boldest versions yet. One pair takes its inspiration from the “Eggplant” Foamposite while the other takes on characteristics of the Metallic Gold Air Flightposite. Both pairs sport some Metallic Silver on the midsole with a Black outsole and the uppers use a foam-like material that looks to have some iridescent properties when light hits their surface. If you were drooling over the preview pics from June, you’ll be happy to know that both colorways have started to arrive at select Nike retailers such as Millennium Shoes and be sure to check out a bunch more images of the Eggplant and Metallic Gold Hyperdunk after the jump.

Nike Boots Fall 2009 Releases

Nike will have some nice boot solutions in store for the fall with three stylish new looks and colorways. The Foamposite Boot will be back in a new black on black colorway, providing a winterized boot version of the classic basketball model. The Air Zoom Tallac Lite ACG tech boot, which first showed earlier this year, returns in a simple black/dark grey color scheme with metallic silver accents. Rounding out the group is the Rongbuk Mid GTX, an ACG hiking boot that first showed up a few months back as a low model. The Rongbuk sports a black/dark grey upper with light blue highlights and some yellow contrast stitching. If you like something you see here, be advised that all three models will be hitting stores in September and October. Stay tuned for specific release details and keep reading for some up-close looks at all three.

Air Jordan 1 Retro Phat Premier 60+ Collection Boston Celtics November 2009

In addition to our preview of the Air Jordan 1 Retro Phat Premier 60+ series, we have also given you detailed looks at the Cleveland Cavaliers, Atlanta Hawks and Detroit Pistons installments of the collection. Now we turn our attention to the Boston Celtics edition, paying tribute to the April 20, 1986 game where Michael Jordan poured in 63 points against them in their own building. The shoe sports a similar look to the Bulls vs. Celtics DMP Air Jordan 1, but there are some notable differences. This version replaces the white sections with black and green, giving the upper a simpler and darker two-color look. Also of note, the Swoosh sports the same carpet-like chenille material that has been seen on the other Air Jordan 1′s from the 60+ series. These won’t be hitting retailers until November, but you can check out some more pics after the jump while you’re waiting. Via FootLockerUnlocked.

adidas x Kevin Garnett x Chelsea Football Club TS Commander LT Pack

It may come as a surprise to many of you that NBA star Kevin Garnett is actually a big fan of England’s Chelsea Football Club, one of the top soccer teams in the U.K.’s prestigious Premier League. As a tribute to KG’s support for the team, adidas and Boston shop, Bodega, have teamed up to put together an interesting Kevin Garnett x Chelsea pack full of cross-branded goodies. In addition to a Chelsea jersey that sports Garnett’s name and number, there will also be a Chelsea scarf with the Bodega logo printed on one side and the team’s crest on the other. Last but not least, a special Chelsea edition of KG’s TS Commander LT shoe has been created in a royal blue and yellow color scheme with a soccer ball pattern etched into sections of the midsole and Chelsea’s lion crest proudly featured on the tongue label. The pack will be available exclusively at Bodega beginning on August 29th, so don’t hesitate because supplies will be very limited. Via Freshness.

Nike Air Hoop Structure Black Hot Red Available

The color saga concerning this Air Hoop Structure model just keeps raging on. Originally, it appeared that this version of the hybrid basketball shoe would sport a Black/Infrared colorway, similar to the Air Jordan VI, but more recent photos led us to believe that it would actually be Varsity Red providing the accents. A lot of sneakerheads were disappointed by the Varsity Red news, and now it seems that Nike has found a happy medium. The final retail version of the shoe will have a Black nubuck upper with Hot Red accents, offering a nice compromise between Infrared and Varsity Red and still maintaining a Air Jordan VI feel. If you have been patiently waiting for these or are back on board thanks to these new pics and info, you can pick up a pair now from 95soleman on eBay.

Ian Ginoza x Converse Jack Purcell Red Ox EPI 1HUND(RED) Collection

Their 1HUND(RED) campaign has been a long party for Converse.  Initially conceived of as a way to commemorate the One Star’s centennial while helping the fight against AIDS, the program has been around without too much fanfare of late.   This Converse Jack Purcell Red Ox got its simple but effective look from the mind behind Kicks/HI and Chicago’s St. Alfred.  Ian Ginoza used white Epi leather with just a couple touches of vibrant red and sent us running to buy them so we’ll have a couple extra days of warm weather to show them off.  Get yours today from Sneakers n Stuff.
