Here we have a look at one of the most intriguing Air Jordan promo samples that you are likely to ever see. A few years back, Nike was exploring the idea of making one-piece versions of some classic models that used no stitching on the uppers. Apparently, Jordan Brand took a liking to the concept and gave it a test run. Two one-piece versions of the Air Jordan X were created, both eliminating all of the lines and layers of the upper and replacing them with a simplified surface. A safety orange pair takes the Air Jordan X to its boldest heights yet, while a navy suede version provides a subtler look. Unfortunately this interesting idea never came to fruition as a retail release, but at least we get to take a look at what could have been. Check out some more pics of both colorways after the jump and let us know what you think of these wild Air Jordan samples. Via Kenlu.

Nike will continue to keep the Terminator High models coming during the Fall 2009 season with some striking new colorways for both men and women. For the ladies, there will be a wild version that sports a pink upper with a light speckled design on certain sections. In contrast to the pink, a larger section of the upper is turquoise with a diagonal stripe pattern moving across the surface. The color scheme is then finished off by some touches of black on the tongue, laces, lining and outsole. The men’s Terminator High takes a more traditional approach, going with a simple black/yellow upper with a white midsole and gum outsole. If you like what you see from the latest batch of Terminators, you can pick up a pair now at ABC-Mart.

The Nike Blazer has been everywhere you look for the last year or so, constantly dropping in all sorts of new colorways. While the Blazer has regained some of its popularity, it’s usually the High and Mid versions that receive the majority of new color schemes. Now it’s time for the Blazer Low Classic to make some statements of its own. Two bold new colorways of the Blazer Low have just been released in women’s sizes, one in University Blue and the other in New Magenta. Both pairs sport a solid look with some subtle tonal accents. These have already hit select retailers in Asia and should be on their way to the States soon. Via Dunk.com.cn.

Last year’s ‘Made for Skate’ Nike SB Blazer Elite ushered in the Blue Box Era. This latest release inverts the colours, using ‘gold leaf’ nubuck for the upper. A deeper-than-royal shade of blue comes in on a leather Swoosh, also on the laces and suede heel tab. When we got photos of these from Bright, they were among a nice set of spring 2010 releases, so take a look at the photos and we’ll keep you updated with release info soon. via N-SB.org

Typically “Nike Air Max Preview” would denote a look into the future at never before seen runners here at Sneaker News. Actually, that’s the name of the sneaker pictured above, and it’s already out! The Nike Air Max Preview (aka Nike Classic Rival EU) hasn’t gotten nearly as much press as other Swooshed runners from which it borrows design cues. It’s clear that the ‘airmax’ script on the outer rear panel is from Air Max 95. The side panel Swooshes integrate with the other parts in a way that reminds us of Air Classic BW and the side panels, interestingly enough, resemble the Nike SB Zoom Tre AD. For the Max heads out there, you’ll also notice the Air 180 Air Unit used on these. The pair above goes for a black, silver and neon green nod to the AM95 while a pair in white with baby blue accents makes the best of what’s left of summer. Grab the white, black or both pairs from Titolo.

Vans’ big break may have been on the feet of Sean Penn’s Jeff Spicoli in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, but Off the Wall has been catering to an older crowd of late. The latest Chukka del Barco LX from the Vans Vault is a great example of their sophisticated leanings. It comes to us in a mix of black and browns, complete with just enough red and orange to let us know we should get ready for fall and cop a pair of these today from eBay. Photos: Shaolin8

Nike SB uses creative inspirations for their colour schemes. With this latest one, they might be a good fit for horror fans, since the muse is kinda gross. Dubbed the ‘Bloody Gums’, these Nike SB Dunk Highs look like AquaFresh with their mix of red, white and teal. Among the more interesting design elements is the translucent black outsole, a closer look at which will reveal some red peeking through at the toe. Whether this indicates a design over the entire sole remains to be seen, so stick with Sneaker News for updates. via Warped
