Nike Hyperdunk GS White Varsity Red Black

Nobody ever said that being a young sneakerhead was easy. Not only do you have to rely on others to buy your kicks for you, but so many of the hottest styles never even come out in kids’ sizes. Nike has recognized the frustration of grade school ballers and as a result, the Hyperdunk will now be available in GS sizes for the first time. The groundbreaking basketball model has been shrunk down for the youngsters, but still mainatains its great look and function. This version features a fairly simple color scheme with a White upper contrasted by Varsity Red and Black accents. Hook up your kids or younger siblings by picking up a fresh pair of Hyperdunks today on eBay.

Converse Starplayer 75 Hi Black White + White Black

Converse hadn’t joined the super-hightop fray until now.  With the Converse Starplayer 75 Hi, the One Star brand has exaggerated some of the Chuck Taylor All Star‘s key features.  It’s a few eyelets higher than the Chuck, but still uses the same metal-reinforced eyelets.  The black or white pairs feature the opposite shade of Star and chevron, while the tongue features a somewhat Everlast-like tag.  Pick up the whites, blacks or both of these today from Size?

Air Jordan XX3 Unreleased Samples

Yesterday, we gave you a nice look at an extremely rare White/Metallic Gold sample pair of Air Jordan XX3′s and now it’s time to check out some unreleased colorways of the shoe. Here we have two Air Jordan XX3 samples that never saw the light of day. As you may notice, the one pair looks very similar to the Titanium colorway that eventually dropped, but the blue around the ankle collar of the retail version is black on this pair and the tongue and laces are also black instead of white. The other sample version goes with a simple white/black palette, although its upper also sports the same embroidered design and color scheme of the Titanium edition. You can take a closer look at both after the jump and let us know if these versions are better or worse than some of the colorways that were actually released.  Via FlightClub.Tistory.

Thursday Throwback 2004 Nike Air Force 1 JD Sports Obsidian Chrome

Thursday Throwback by: GourmetKickz

Year: 2005
Name: Air Force 1 JD
Style #: 306509-144
Colors:
White / Obsidian – Chrome
NikeAirForce1.com 1Thology Profile

“This is how we take the old from new, the new to the old, the old from the new!” Yes we’re about to take you back….. Way back…… into time! Years ago before the hottest releases could be found at Tier Zero accounts or NSW doors, the hottest AF1′s could be found at JD Sports, a UK based chain of stores. Before the Nike AF1 25th Anniversary JD Sports collaborated with Nike to create dozens of unique and exclusive AF1′s that could only be found in the UK  at JD Sports locations. This made getting your hands on a JD Exclusive quite a task, making the few eBay sellers who specialized in these rarities quite popular among U.S. sneakerheads. The above shown JD Exclusive is a very simple yet classic design. Featuring an all white upper this shoe was released in the Spring of 2004 and featured both smooth and textured leather. It also featured a rarely used double swoosh; an obsidian classic swoosh wrapped with a chrome border, yes chrome! Like most foreign exclusive AF1′s this sneaker featured an extra embroidered swoosh at the tip of the eyestay colored in obsidian to hook up with the midsole stitching and heel accents. Now of course seeing an all white and obsidian AF1 Low is certainly no rarity, which makes these all the more special, as only the trained eye of a sneaker aficionado would instantly realize that this is no ordinary U.S. release, but something far more special. JD Exclusives are notorious for using superior materials and color combinations never seen on U.S. bound releases. They are among the most sought after and most memorable AF1′s to date and often the hardest to find. So if you began collecting recently you probably don’t understand the difference between a JD Exclusive and a GR. That’s quite alright, as once again the Thursday Throwback is here to both titillate and educate. So novice collectors looking to outdue your competitive cohorts, start scouring the web and seek to step up your JD Exclusive game.

Nike Air Maxim Trainer 1 OG Air Trainer 1 Chlorophyll Colorway

Way back in April, we gave you a look at this interesting new Air Maxim Trainer 1 model that fuses elements of the Air Maxim 1 with the Air Trainer 1. Sometimes when these hybrid models pop up, it seems like the ones that should work don’t and the ones that shouldn’t work do. In this case, other than the era that they were both created in, the Air Max 1 and the Air Trainer 1 have very little in common in terms of design, aesthetic or even purpose. Obviously, one is a running shoe and the other is a cross-trainer, but for some reason, the classic nature of both seems to make for a nice harmony when combined into a single design.

This version will feature the classic Chlorophyll Air Trainer 1 colorway, giving the shoe an added boost of OG flavor, despite the fact that this is technically a new model. Also of note, the Air Maxim Trainer 1 will feature a combination of suede, leather and Flywire on the upper, as well as an Athletics West tongue label. Look for these to hit select retailers some time this fall, and for now, you can check out some more pics after the jump. Via HighSnobiety.

Nike Hyperize Philadelphia Pack @ HOH Cherry Hill Grand Opening

Although the town of Cherry Hill is actually found in New Jersey, it’s actually more of a suburb of Philadelphia. That’s why at the grand opening of the new House of Hoops in Cherry Hill, the Nike Hyperize will be paying homage to Illadelph with the release of two new colorways inspired by the City of Brotherly Love. One version sports a patriotic Challenge Red/Varsity Royal/White color scheme with sections of red felt on the upper. The other Hyperize features an even bolder look thanks to a Varsity Maize upper with Black accents and an exaggerated Hyperize tongue label. The Challenge Red pair will go on sale at the Cherry Hill grand opening this Saturday, with the Varsity Maize version arriving on Sunday. Keep reading after the jump for a better look at both pairs, as well as some more info on the House of Hoops Cherry Hill grand opening celebration. Via FootLockerUnlocked.

Nike Air Max Light White Varsity Royal Scuba Blue Tecmo Bo

It made perfect sense for the well-received Tecmo Bo theme to appear on Bo Jackson-relevant models like the Air Trainer series, but the concept has also been used on some less related kicks like the Blazer High, Sky Force High and now the Air Max Light. This Air Max Light model sports a White upper with Varsity Royal and Scuba Blue accents and a tonal pixel pattern printed on the toe and heel section. An added touch of Scuba Blue can also be found on the outsole to help complete the Kansas City Royals color scheme. Like with some of the other Bo-inspired kicks, his Tecmo Baseball likeness appears stitched into the tongue label. if you are feeling these kicks or are just trying to collect the entire Tecmo Bo series, you can find this Air Max Light version now on eBay.

Nike WMNS Dunk High Skinny Plaid Tablecloth

Just a couple of weeks until Labor Day unofficially marks the end of summer, but there’s still plenty of time for BBQ parties.  The Nike Dunk High is back, this time resembling a set of tablecloths.  The red one has the traditional outdoor-eatin’ vibe, while the blue edition resembles the Blue Lobster SB Dunk lining.  Both have ripstop nylon toes and in these new photos, we get a good sense of the barely-translucent outsoles.  They’re made for ladies, but anyone who can find a size to fit should grab these hot off the grill from eBay.  Photos: ID4Shoes

The Converse Skateboarding line has quietly been winning over a lot of sneakerheads lately with their revamped spins on some classic Converse styles. This CONS CTS High model takes the iconic Chuck Taylor High and gives it a nice premium leather look that is also built to skate in as well thanks to some extra padding. Aside from the tonal leather uppers, you’ll notice that the entire leather sections are covered by a perforation pattern, improving breathability and adding a stylish elelment to the look of the shoe. For starters, the CONS CTS High Perf will be available in black and white colorways, both with solid uppers and white midsoles.
