As you may already know, Jordan Brand athlete Chris Paul recently followed Kobe Bryant’s lead by also taking a trip to Asia to promote his shoe, meet with fans and offer advice to aspiring young ballers in China. As you will see from these pics, Jordan Brand pulled out all the stops to make this one of the most visually impressive events ever seen with elaborate decorations and displays that matched up with the ornate aesthetic of the “Little Dragon” China edition of the CP3.II that dropped in China during Paul’s visit. Keep reading to see some great shots of Chris Paul, the Guang Zhou event and the CP3.II China model. Via HK-Kicks.

Nike sticks with the back-to-basics Air Force 1 approach with this latest version. This Air Force 1 Low sports a super-clean look that provides a nice alternative to the strictly white on white version for those who like to keep it crisp. The shoe uses Light Bone leather for the upper with sections of Anthracite on the tongue and heel tab. Additional White accents can be found on the midsole, lining and laces and the final touch is provided by a classic-looking gum midsole. You can still get some summer mileage out of these kicks if you scoop up a pair on eBay now. Photos: ID4shoes.

Every veteran sneakerhead remembers the lasting impression of Michael’s Bred Air Jordan IV’s lifting off the court after hitting “The Shot” over Craig Ehlo to defeat the Cleveland Cavs in the 1989 NBA playoffs. What has slipped under the radar for a while now is that Michael’s coach, the now legendary Phil Jackson, was also seen rocking the OG Black/Red/Cement Air Jordan IV while coaching from the sidelines. Check out these still shots of Mike and Phil stylin’ in the kicks during an Eastern Conference Finals game against the Pistons and you can see some video footage of both after the jump. Via NK.

LeBron VII mania is in full swing as we bring you a look at another upcoming Air Max LeBron VII colorway. We previewed these last month, but at the time, it was unknown if this extra-fresh colorway would ever be released. We’re delighted to report that not only will these kicks be released, but they are just as magnificent in person. This version of the Air Max LeBron VII has been dubbed as the “Red Carpet” edition and has been designed as a nod to King James’ superstar lifestyle.
The shoe ditches the Flywire in favor of a classy black woven upper that sits atop a white leather base and midsole. To add some flavor to the color scheme, there are healthy doses of teal that really pop in contrast to the white/black backdrop. As a cherry on top, there are some vibrant splashes of bright red found on the tongue and the toe section of the outsole. We’ll keep you posted on the release info once it becomes available, but in the meantime, check out some more pics of this killer colorway after the jump.

It’s pretty amazing how many different places we have seen Jeff Staple able to spread his “Pigeon” concept and color scheme. Staple has already teamed up with brands like Nike SB, Converse, Kangol and others, including New Balance for the first go around of the “Pigeon” 575. As we saw a few weeks, ago, a new white version of the Staple x New Balance 575 was spotted on Jeff’s feet at the Bread and Butter tradeshow, and now it has been confirmed that a limited run of 1,000 pairs will be released at select retailers on August 18th. We’ll let you know what shops will have them once that info becomes available, and in the meantime, you can see some more pics after the jump. Via UrbanLook.

Earlier today, we gave you a look at the upcoming black/metallic gold version of the Air Max LeBron VII and as promised, here is a look at another new colorway that is on the not-too-distant horizon. This pair uses a traditional-looking white/navy/metallic gold color scheme that bears a definite resemblance to some past Akron-inspired LeBron kicks. The shoe features a white leather upper with a navy Flywire-laced midpanel. Like on the black/gold version, metallic gold accents can be found on the lace loops and L23 logo, as well as outlining the Swoosh. This LeBron VII also sports some subtle hints of red on the tongue and the “twenty”/”three” branding on the toes. Stay tuned to Sneaker News for specific release details and be sure to check out some more detailed images after the jump.

The Air Pegasus ’89 has made a quiet comeback this year, with the re-release of a number of OG colorways. While the originals still look great, Nike has also decided to put a more contemporary spin on the classic running model with some new color schemes and printed graphics. This pair sports a crisp white upper with a black Swoosh and purple accents on the midsole, heel cap, laces and tongue label. As an added touch, this shoe also uses the same jumbled block letter graphics that have recently shown up on another version of the Air Pegasus and several other Nike models such as the Air Structure Triax ’91. If you like what you see here, check out some more close-ups after the jump and you can pick up a pair now at Standard.

In addition to the unveiling of the new Air Max LeBron VII in Akron last Friday, we also got a sneak peek at a few more upcoming colorways of the shoe. This pair keeps it super-slick with a black on black color scheme, but rather than the straight “triple black” look that previous LeBron kicks have sported, these throw in some hints of metallic gold to flash things up a bit. Shiny metallic gold touches on the L23 logo button, lace loops and surrounding the Swoosh give these kicks some real style and provide a nice complement to the simplicity of the color scheme. Exact release info for this Air Max LeBron VII colorway is still unknown, but they will definitely be dropping in the coming months, so stay tuned for further info and be sure to check out some more detailed pics after the jump.

On Tuesday, we gave you the latest look at the upcoming Varsity Royal Tecmo Bo version of the Air Trainer 1 and now we get a sneak peek at another colorway of the classic style that’s also on the way. Although this version doesn’t appear to stick to the Bo theme, it still has somewhat of a Kansas City Royals feel thanks to the color scheme. The shoe sports a super-clean White on White upper with the only accents coming by way of a University Blue midsole and tongue branding. If you’re feeling the latest addition to the Air Trainer comeback, keep an eye out for these at select Nike retailers in September.

JD Sports just got two exclusive Nike Air Max 90s and here’s another to add to the collection. It’s not a 90, but the Nike Air Max ST undubidably captures that early 90s running vibe. This edition is as simple as they get, opting for a grey mudguard to break up the otherwise entirely black upper. White on the tongue, Swoosh and Air bubble frame complete this palette that you could rock with nearly anything. Grab yours today from JD Sports.

Jay-Z was spotted in Los Angeles this past weekend eating at what seems like is his favorite restaraunt in LA, Katsuya, where he was seen leaving in a pair of fresh Kanye West x Louis Vuitton Louis Vuitton Don’s in Grey and White. The last time we reported on Jay-Z and his “celebrity feet” he was also seen leaving Katsuya in LA only with a pair of Nike x Kanye West Air Yeezy’s on. This time the lonely Jay-Z left the restaraunt after filming his new video for his second single, Run This Town, which features Rihanna and Kanye West. via CONCRETELOOP

Each pre-season, a few Nike-affiliated college football teams are provided with some pretty cool samples to take out for a test drive during team practices. This year, one such school was given this incredible pair of sample Hyperdunk football cleats to try out under the rigors of NCAA level competition. As you might expect, these are far lighter than the average pair of cleats that have been converted from a basketball shoe design. Don’t expect to see these available for retail anytime soon, but if you’re a football playing sneakerhead it must be hard to contain the excitement right now. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on further info and be sure to check out some more pics afterthe jump. Thanks to our anonymous source for the heads up.
