We’ve seen a ton of Safari-printed Nike Air Max 1s this summer. From the crazily coloured womens pack to a Safari 87 mashup, the wide variety still leaves us wanting more. Enter this pair in hyper blue. The vivid shade allows the black Safari spots to explode from the mudguard, while grey and white elsewhere balance the effort. Grab these today from Purchaze.

We’ve come to expect calculated insanity from Visvim. Considering their catalogue of embellished chukkas, sandals and hightop sneakers, this might be the best representation of the company’s vision so far. The Visvim Malisset Elk-Folk is a lowtop moccasin-like shoe with a rich, tumbled black leather upper. It sits atop a crepe sole that looks to have a strip of wood on top and features a carbon fiber heel plate. Toss in the corded laces, beads sewn into the toe and tassles on the heel and these are complete (-ly ‘Visvim’). Grab a pair today from colette.

What do kodiak bears and some sort of half-King Kong-half-Bigfoot creature have in common? Aside from being hairy, you’ll need a good pair of boots to survive either. Enter this collaboration between outdoor gear company Realtree, Boston boutique Bodega and Vans. The mossy green Chukka Boot pictured above has all the makings of a solid wilderness-ready effort, complete with golden metal eyelets and the earthy palette. We expect these during the cold part of the year, so stick with Sneaker News for updates. Be sure to click the jump below and check out the (unintentionally?) hilarious ‘creature’ mentioned above. via HB

Expect the Nike All Court to pick up some serious momentum. The Blazer-derived design is just too smooth to fail with its utterly unique asymmetrical toe cap. This pair we saw back in June looks at first glance like it could be a part of the LIVESTRONG collection, but a closer look reveals a different inspiration. The faux-reptile leather upper might be seen to resemble a gorilla’s face, as the heel tab prominently features a pair of bananas. These are yours for the grabbing from Chapter and should be stateside soon.

We’ve been keeping you steadily posted on the collaboration between Jeff Staple and Airwalk. Some styles began releasing towards the end of July, and at this point, all nine STPL x Airwalk models are available at Payless stores for some very reasonable prices in time for back-to-school. The designs run the gamut from high tops, to mids, lows and even slip-ons, each with its own unique style and color scheme. The entire collection is available now at Payless stores, as well as on the Payless online store, and if you keep reading after the jump, you’ll find more pics of all nine Staple-designed shoes and a coupon good for $10 off your purchase.

Plenty of Nike Air Max runners have come bearing gifts of Safari print in honour of Nike ACG’s 20th birthday. This pair maximizes the key design feature of the Air Classic BW when doing so. A thin strip of Safari accents the black stripe that encircles the shoe, stopping only to let the Swoosh point through. Toss in some red and these are ready to go. Grab yours today from eBay. It seems like the Louis Vuitton x Kanye West sneaker collection has been the most popular collection of sneakers to hit retailers as of late and it appears that they are even more popular amongst celebrities as we have seen everyone wearing them including Jay-Z, Lance Gross, Carmelo Anthony, and now T-Pain. The Jasper’s are the most popular, T-Pain, wore the Grey and Pink high-top sneakers while performing at the Samsung AT&T Summer Krush in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Our suspicion that the ‘Asparagus’ Nike SB Dunk Low was a newer incarnation of the sneaker pictured above has proven to be warrented. Though they didn’t undergo a name change, the former ‘Toxic Avenger’ Dunks have earned a new nickname and gone through another minor design change. Now known as the ‘Toxic Sea Robin’, this lowtop manages to incorporate the existing New Jersey theme with just a bit of spite for the Beantown Lobstermen. Officially de-Troma-ed, these make up for it with an extra ‘toxic’ translucent outsole in neon green that’s among the most striking we’ve seen. NJ Skateshop will have these in stock on Saturday, August 15th. Be sure to check Sneaker News for info on wider availability. via N-SB.org

Two brands that have made some major contributions to urban style and culture during their lifespans are both celebrating significant anniversaries this year. Pioneering hip-hop label Def Jam is turning 25 this year, while adidas will mark its 60th anniversary. With adidas kicks and classic hip-hop going hand in hand, it made perfect sense to team up for a co-celebration of the respective milestones. Def Jam and adidas have joined forces to co-brand some anniversary editions of a few of adidas’s classic models. The first batch consists of a red and gold Forum and a black and red Stan Smith. Both feature Def Jam and adidas branding, as well as a special “AD.60.DJ.25″ logo in recognition of the double anniversary. If you are a fan of Def Jam, adidas or both, you can find the kicks now at ShuhYou.

Rocawear celebrated it’s 10th Anniversary with a party hosted by Jay-Z and friends in New York City this past Monday night. A number of celebrities were in attendance including director Spike Lee, Anthony Anderson, Memphis Bleek, Rihanna, and more. Although this was a Rocawear party, Jay-Z didn’t break out the new Rocawear R+ Evolution sneakers instead he rocked the Nike RT1′s in Black and Azure, a pair of sneakers he must love since he wore another colorway during this year’s Hot 97 Summer Jam. Spike Lee wore a pair of the Air Jordan Force Fusion (AJF 4) IV sneakers in the White and Cement colorway inspired by the original Air Jordan IV’s he wore in his movie, Do the Right Thing. Take a look at what the other celebrities in attendance wore after the jump.
