Nike Air Max LeBron VII More Than A Game World Tour City Pack Chicago Colorway

To coincide with the release of the documentary More Than A Game, LeBron James will be embarking on a world tour to promote the film and, of course, the Air Max LeBron VII. As we reported the other day, there will be an artist series where an artist from each city on the tour will design a special version of the shoe, but there will also be a City Pack. Here we have a look at the Chicago edition which sports a St. Vincent St. Mary color scheme and a Family, Loyalty theme.  As with all the LeBron VII’s from the City Pack, these kicks sport an image from the movie inset on the inner heel section of the upper. The shoe also features a speckled midsole, metallic green accents and a gradient Flywire panel, as well as a shout out to Chi-town on the heel portion of the Air bubble. Only 123 pairs of these beauties will be released in Chicago this week when LeBron comes into town. Via phliworld.

Celebrity Feet: XV and Nickelus F Air Jordan I XQ and Nike SB Dunk High Gucci

Rappers XV and Nickelus F were spotted at XV’s album, Everybody’s Nobody, release party at Glass in New York City this past weekend wearing some heat. XV was spotted wearing a pair of the very limited Air Jordan I XQ China Editions shoes that were only released in China a couple years ago. Nickelus F was seen wearing a pair of the Nike SB Dunk High “Gucci’s” that will be hitting Nike SB retailers this Holiday 2009 season. Both rappers are a part of the new wave of hip-hop artists who seem to be in tune with sneakers and streetwear including Wale and Kid Cudi.

Nike Lunar Mariah August 2009

The Nike Lunar Mariah dropped back in April as a Tier Zero release honouring the original colourways.  With these, we’re seeing a wider array of colourways, all with a common theme.  Each of these three features a black no-sew upper riding a Lunar Foam sole with white speckles.  There’s one each in blue, black with grey accents and red, and all three of them are set to drop in about two weeks: Saturday, August 22nd.  Click the jump below for more photos from Nike Sportswear and a list of retailers who will stock these runners.

Todd Bratrud x Nike SB Dunk High Brainwreck October 2009

Todd Bratrud’s third Nike SB Dunk High peeked out of the shadows right around the time of Debacle’s HD release.  In these new shots, we can get a much better look at the key design element.  The ‘Brainwreck’ Nike SB Dunk High sports a grey suede upper with a lighter shade of leather on the toe and Swooshes.  A light grey midsole and pink outsole allow this simple palette to give birth to ‘BRAIN’ on the heel (possibly ‘BRAIN’ ‘WRECK’, though it’s impossible to tell if these photos are both the left foot).  We’ll keep you updated with any new info ahead of their October release.  via Warped

Nike Air Force 1 Haute Chartucerie Customs by BlackYard

Mayor’s ‘Strawberry Nesquik’ Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke is quite impressive, but another pink AF1 takes the food inspiration even further.  These customs from BlackYard on display at Art Clash 09 add touches of red and white so as to convey a beefy belly.  The right shoe reveals muscle tissue while the left is divided into different cuts of steak.  Take a look at the photos after the jump and be sure not to drool on your keyboard.  via N-SB.org

Air Jordan Campus Chukka Sail Olive Khaki

The Air Jordan Campus Chukka is the Jumpman Brand’s finest lifestyle sneaker to date.  It offers familiar chukka lace plackets while adding a style all its own via the distinctive sole.  This edition is downright classy in its off-white suede upper.  The midsole adds a darker shade in a tumbled leather wrap, capped off (literally) by olive green on the toe and heel.  Grab a pair or two of these today from Essense.

Nike Dunk High Black White Varsity Royal

The Nike Dunk has seen a couple notable panda-derived designs in the recent past.  This latest hightop isn’t specified as such, but it still excels with a similarly subtle colourway.  These add a black suede overlay to a perforated white leather base, the same colours that are repeated on the mid- and outsole.  This leaves the blue laces to shine as the main contrast.  These are available now at select Nike Sportswear retailers like Caliroots.

Vans x Offspring Off The Wall Toy

Back in February, UK sneaker retailer Offspring created some cool vinyl figures of their mascot character and now the little guy is back as part of a collaboration with Vans to celebrate the release of the new Off the Wall pack. The figure sports a vintage Off the Wall logo t-shirt with Vans kicks and comes in a Vans branded box. The limited run of toys will be given away in all Offspring stores with the purchase of any pair of kicks from the Off the Wall pack that just dropped this weekend.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII Design Process with Jason Petrie

Jason Petrie grew up in Charlotte, NC, always sketching and doodling as a kid. He started drawing shoes in 7th grade science class, after seeing his first pair of Nike Air Trainer 3’s. From that moment he knew he wanted to design shoes for Nike and he has been dreaming up shoes in one form or another ever since. He sold his GI Joe collection to buy his first pair of Nikes that summer and he is still hunting down the right shoe to fill a slot in his collection. After high school he moved to Raleigh, NC to attend North Carolina State University. Jason studied textile technology and industrial design, graduating in 1998.

Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke Mayor Strawberry Nesquik

Mayor’s latest in a long line of dope Bespoke Nike Air Force 1s is quite the sight to behold.  At first, you might think these could pass for Infrared, but as it turns out, they were inspired by his love of Strawberry Nesquik.  That leaves us thinking that they’re pink, but either way, the reflective 3M Swooshes and heel tab balance out the single coloured suede upper quite nicely.  Take a look at more photos after the jump and let us know what drink you’d make into a Bespoke AF1.  via NiceKicks

Nike Blazer High GS White China Rose Black

Most of the GS releases from Nike have focused on their back to school theme.  These are clearly made for the young ladies, but take a different approach.  The Nike Blazer High GS pictured above uses a variety of pinks with black, creating a sort of notebook effect of its own.  The side panels meld different sketches, including other pink and black ladies’ Nikes.  If your little sneaker lass would like these toe capped kicks, grab them today from Premium Laces.

Nike Blazer High Ohio State Buckeyes

August means back to school and of course, college football.  Ohio State is unquestionably one of the most prestigious football programs in the country and have been wearing Nike jerseys for quite a while.  This new Blazer High from Nike Sportswear uses their grey, white and red colour scheme and borrows from the tradition of slapping a Buckeye sticker on the helmets of top performers.  The tricky thing here is that be it because of licensing fees or some other reason, the stickers aren’t those traditional Buckeyes, but rather a skull and crossbones made of barbells and a football helmet.  Anyone at least 50 miles outside of Ann Arbor, Michigan can cop these now.  via HB
