Nike Air Max 90 Fall 2009 Releases

The Nike Air Max 1 received a hero’s welcome during its grand return this summer.  The ’87′s’ sequel is also set to drop in a few new colourways.  Pictured above are two Nike Air Max 90s that should be out any minute now.  One opts for the simple triple black palette we’ve been seeing more lately, while the other adds white and emerald green for a safe fall look.  Check your local Nike Sportswear retailers for these today.

Nike Big Nike High Fall 2009 Releases

The Big Nike High came back onto the scene honouring a University of Houston team that lost in the last second to North Carolina State in the 1983 NCAA Mens Basketball Championships.  It looks like the latest releases will honour dominant teams from the following season.  One has a university (read:’Carolina’) blue upper with white accents, while the other can be seen to share a white, navy and orange palette with the University of Virginia.  UNC won the championship, but you can settle the score with your choice of purchase when these drop next month.

Celebrity Feet: Casio G Shock Shock the World Tour 2009 New York Party

A number of celebrities made it out to the 2009 Casio G-Shock “Shock the World” Tour stop in New York last night and amongst them were Mr. Cartoon, Stevie Williams, and Kanye West. While the event celebrated Casio G-Shock, we were busy looking at what some of these celebrities were wearing on their feet. Mr. Cartoon was wearing a pair of Nike Air Force 1′s that he designed, the Nike x Mr. Cartoon “Spider Web” AF1′s. Stevie Williams was seen rocking a pair of the new Air Jordan Force Fusion IV’s (AJF 4) in White, Black, and Varsity Red. And last but not least, Kanye West was seen performing in a pair of crispy Black Timberland boots. More photos of the event at Freshness.

Air Jordan 7 DMP Sixty Plus Pack New Images

Release Date: 08/15/2009
Color: Multicolor/Multicolor
Style: 371496-991

Just last week, we gave you a deeper look into the upcoming Air Jodan VII 60+ Pack.  As you may already know, the two sneakers were made to commemorate one of Michael Jordan’s greatest games of many: the Bulls vs. Magic game which took place on January 16, 1993, the day he scored an astounding 64 points despite a loss.  We now have even more pictures for you, for a better insight on the details of the pack like the quality of the nubuck on the Raptor’s colorway, worn by MJ, and the cement-like design on the midsole of the Orlando Magic colorway.  Also, the tongue of the Magic colorway features a pinstripe design similar to the Nike Air Penny 1, paying homage to Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway who played on the Magic. Wrapping the sneakers up is tissue paper containing a nice Air Jordan 7 sole print.  The shoes are releasing on August 15th with a retail price of $310.  via Nice Kicks

Thursday Throwback 2005 Nike Air Force 1 Inside/Out Truques

Thursday Throwback by: GourmetKickz

Year: 2005
Name: Air Force 1 Inside/Out
Style #: 313318-241
Colors:
Baroque Brown/ Varsity Royal – Sail
NikeAirForce1.com 1Thology Profile

“This is how we take the old from new, the new to the old, the old from the new!” Yes we’re about to take you back….. Way back…… into time! Some people may not remember this release from 2005 as not many Nike accounts received shipments of this out of the ordinary AF1. This Low top Inside/Out was relased during holiday 2005 as a tribute to the game of soccer from a Brazilian perspective in the aptly named “Truques and Tricks” Pack which consisted of the above shown AF1 Low and an Air Max 1. The pack was inspired by 3 Brazilian soccer stars whose names and likenesses are laser etched on the insoles. Images of the global game being played are also laser etched on the Sail colored frontal and eyestay portions. What makes this sneaker most unique is the colorway; very seldom are Baroque Brown, Varsity Royal and Sail used in combination, let alone atop a gum sole! This sneaker was also one of first Inside/Out releases, using a single solid piece of leather for the midsole (unlike today’s I/O’s which break the midsole up with seams at the front and rear of each shoe). The leather is premium grade, thick pebbled baroque brown upper and a great texture of supple Sail leather at the frontal and eyestay, as well as throughout the interior. So collectors if you have these, then you either love the game of soccer, or you just simply know a dope AF1 when you see one!

Nike Air Hoop Structure Black Varsity Red September 2009

So far, the Nike Air Hoop Structure has received a warm welcome, especially thanks to the recent OG Air Structure Triax ’91 colorway, but as you may already be aware of, there are still some pretty juicy versions on the way. We first previewed this Black/Varsity Red colorway back in February, and at the time, the photos of the shoe appeared to have Infrared accents. Much to our dismay, the retail version will be using Varsity Red instead. The shoe still looks great and definitely has an Air Jordan VI feel courtesy of the color scheme and ankle bubble, but it seems like a shame that the Infrared has been replaced. Nothing is ever final until they hit stores, so you never know, but with a September release planned, it seems unlikely that any change will be made. Let us know what you think about the switch after getting a closer look after the jump.

Nike WMNS Air Max 90 Challenge Red White Medium Grey
New Air Max 90 colorways are always popping up, and it seems like lately, the ladies have been getting the better colorways. Here is a look at another new womens Air Max 90 that is just starting to hit select retailers. The shoe sports a Challenge Red synthetic suede upper with White accents throughout, as well as some touches of Medium Grey on the eyelet panels and lining. Like some other recent Air Max 90 models, these kicks also sport a White to Grey gradient design on the section of the midsole that surrounds the Air bubble. Ladies, if you like what you see, you can pick up a pair right now on eBay. Photos: ID4SHOES.

Nike MMX Pack 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics

The 2010 Winter Olympic Games are a mere 6 months away and this new pack of Nikes celebrates their Vancouver, Canada home.  These three sneakers each offer a different take on the ‘Fire and Ice’ theme in the Canadian uniform colours of white, red and black, plus touches of their Gold hopes.  Pictured above is the Trainer 1 said to convey the ‘ice-cold’ demeanor of the nation’s hockey stars.  Next is the Free SPARQ 09 in a sort of tribal design, followed by a fiery Zoom Swift TR.  These are available at Nike 6453 Toronto and other select retailers north of the border.  via TheScore

Casio G Shock x Globe Sneaker + Watch Collection

Kanye West denied rumors that he’s working on an Air Jordan model of his own.  There’s no denying his neon-lit performance last night at the NYC stop of Casio G-Shock’s ‘Shock the World Tour 2009′ (check out a ton of photos at FRESHNESS).  Yeezy loves his G-Shocks, but left the door open for another sneaker company to collaborate with Casio.  Enter the Casio G-Shock x Globe collection.  Here we see a white, black and gold co-branded hightop that finds itself somewhere between adidas and Gola.  It looks like a matching white G-Shock watch will accompany the kicks, and we’ll keep you up to date with release info.
