Air Jordan Force Fusion IV (4) Black Varsity Red Stealth Release Reminder

Although they have already been available early at certain retailers, the Black/Varsity Red/Stealth edition of the Air Jordan Force Fusion IV will officially be released this weekend. The AJF IV is doing its part to help bring credibility to the Fusion line, which as many sneakerheads will tell you, is no easy task. While some past Fusion models like the Air Jordan Force Fusion XX and the controversial upcoming AJF XIII seem to have no business blending an Air Jordan with an Air Force 1, the AJF IV seems to make a much more seamless transition. Thanks to its low cut and design simplicity, these kicks come about as close to the original Air Jordan IV as you’re going to get outside of an actual Retro release. Whether you love or hate this Fusion version of one of the all-time great shoes/colorways in the legendary Air Jordan arsenal, be aware that they will be hitting nationwide retailers tomorrow, August 29th, for your purchasing or ridiculing pleasure.  Photos: StepToRun

Nike Auto Force 180 QK NYC Colorway Holiday 2009

Yesterday, we got a look at the Los Angeles version of the Nike Auto Flight and now it’s time to check out another shoe from Nike’s upcoming “Auto” series that reps for L.A.’s east coast rival, New York City. We previewed these back in June, but now we get a peek at some new images of the Auto Force 180. Like the Auto Flight, these kicks take the upper from Charles Barkley’s Air Force 180 and give it a new look thanks to a simplified vulcanized midsole. This Auto Force 180 takes on a New York Knicks color scheme, using a royal blue upper with orange accents and an NYC logo on the heel. Expect these to hit select retailers as a Quickstrike some time during the Holiday ’09 season. Via HS.

Nike 2009 US Open Gear from Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal + More

As the U.S. Open rapidly approaches, Nike is making sure that their big-name endorsers are looking their best. Nike has just unveiled their U.S. Open footwear and apparel collection, featuring shoes and gear made for and worn by some of tennis’s marquee names like Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova. Each player has been outfitted with some new kicks (in Federer’s case two colorways) as well as some in-game apparel. To kick off the U.S. Open excitement early, Nike recently put together a pop-up tennis court in the heart of New York City where Federer, Nadal and Williams, along with tennis legend John McEnroe, met with some local inner-city youth programs to play some tennis and give a few pointers. Keep reading for a look at Nike’s U.S. Open footwear/apparel collection and some pics from Wednesday’s NYC event. Via Freshness.

Nike Sportswear Vandal High Supreme (VNTG) Nylon Pack Spring 2010

As one of Nike’s oldest basketball styles, every once in a while, the Vandal High is released in Vintage versions that have the look of a shoe that’s been sitting in storage for the last 25 years or so. This latest wave of Vintage Vandal High Supreme releases will feature the classic nylon version of the shoe in two new colorways. While both take on certain “vintage” characteristics like the stained and yellowed midsoles, the color schemes look a little more contemporary than anything that was released during the era that these kicks are meant to embody. One pair sports a vibrant Electric Green nylon upper with a Medium Grey ankle strap and some touches of Black. The other Vintage Vandal High Supreme keeps it a little more low-key with a Medium Grey upper contrasted by Vivid Pink and Orange accents. Both pairs are slated for a February 2010 release, but you can check out some more pics after the jump in the meantime. Via Glltn.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII More Than A Game City Pack + Artist Series Shanghai

The LeBron James More Than A Game World Tour made its third and final stop of the Chinese leg of the tour today in Shanghai and by now, we’re sure you know what that means. Today, the City Pack and Artist Series versions of the Air Max LeBron VII were officially unveiled. The Shanghai City Pack edition of the shoe sports the same St. Vincent St. Mary color scheme as the rest, but of course, the inset photograph on the tongue and medial section of the upper has been changed. The Shanghai version displays a photo of an Akron road sign, giving a nice nod to LeBron’s hometown and the setting for most of the More Than A Game film.

We gave you a sneak peek at the Artist Series LeBron VII for Shanghai last week, but now you can get a better look at the custom design work provided by local Chinese graffiti artist, Sic. The shoe features a simple two color approach that includes elements of some of Shanghai’s landmarks and culture, as well as a few more personal references to LeBron and his home city of Akron. Keep reading for more info and some detailed images of both the Shanghai Artist Series and City Pack installments of the Air Max LeBron VII.

Nike Air Max Griffey Swingman Remix Black White Chrome

While it may not have caused the same kind of buzz as the Air Griffey Max 1 Retro, the Air Max Swingman Remix definitely made some noise of its own with the recent colorways that have dropped. After releasing the Jackie Robinson edition back in the spring, Nike dropped two simple colorways in late July that had a certain Air Jordan XI feel to them. Now a new version has emerged that also sticks to a simple approach, using a Black suede upper with sections of mesh and a patent leather mudguard. The only accents come by way of some simple touches of White, as well as a section of carbon fiber on the heel and a Chrome Swingman logo. If you are a fan of the Ken Griffey Jr. Nike line, you can pick up these kicks now from LTD.

Nike Blazer Mid ND Club Purple Volt Spring 2010

The Nike Blazer will keep going strong into 2010 with a fresh line-up of releases scheduled for the new year. Last month, we gave you a look at a Pink/Sail women’s model that also used this same gridded nylon mesh upper and went with a solid color scheme. This time around, it’s Club Purple instead of Pink, and there are also some touches of Purple leather on the toe and Swoosh. Some bright Volt laces and a clean White midsole provide the only accents, giving this Blazer Mid a simple but eye-catching look. As previously mentioned, these won’t be arriving in stores until Spring 2010, but Osneaker has got you covered with a few early pairs.

Nike Terminator High + Blazer High Premium Selvage Denim Pack Available
It was all the way back in January that we first got a look at Nike’s Selvage Denim Pack, and although they have already been available at a few retailers early, they are finally beginning to pop up on a wider scale. As we’ve mentioned before, the concept and execution of the denim theme on these is really spectacular. The Terminator High Premium and Blazer High Premium use different shades of the selvage denim material for their uppers, with both adding extra blue-jeans touches like gold stitching, copper rivets and Nike logo tabs that resemble the iconic Levi’s tag. If you’ve been waiting a long time to get your hands on these, you can find them now at select retailers such as Standard.

Nike Dunk High Black Sail Orange January 2009

We’ve seen some pretty wild designs on the Nike Dunk over the years, but this might be one of the boldest looks yet. This Dunk High model flaunts a full nylon mesh upper with the midpanel and toe box in a solid black and the rest of the upper covered by a crazy orange pattern that, as it was pointed out, bears a certain resemblance to the notorious Zubaz pants that enjoyed some short-lived popularity back in the late 80′s. Additional touches are provided by a black leather Swoosh and a black midsole that is met at the bottom of the shoe by a gum outsole. If you think you have what it takes to pull these off, they’ll be arriving in stores some time this January.  Via FootLockerUnlocked.

Nike Hypermax NFW Tennis Ball Pack Nikestore

For those of you who’ve have been waiting for these to hit US retailers, the wait ended last week when they started to hit select US based retailers. But still some wondered, especially those without one of those ‘special’ retailers in their area, if these would hit online stores. Well you are in luck, because the Nike Hypermax NFW Tennis Ball Pack just hit nikestore.com earlier this morning. Unfortunately, the yellow tennis ball Hypermax sold out, but the other two are still available in a near full size run.
