If this color scheme looks familiar, you have probably already seen it on the Air Trainer III model that dropped back in April. This Air Huarache, along with an Air Tailwind ’92 that also matched the same color palette, were also scheduled for a release around the same time, but for whatever reason, never made it to stores. This Air Huarache flaunts one of its all-time boldest looks courtesy of a Light Charcoal/Dark Obsidian upper that is contrasted by some bright Volt accents. As if that wasn’t enough, the shoe also sports a wild multi-colored pattern on the leather mid-section of the upper. The design is capped off by a clean White midsole that provides a nice balance to the busy look of the upper. If you’re upset that these never dropped, the good news is that this sample pair is available now in a size 9 from duewestdesigns on eBay.

The first thing that comes to mind when viewing this amazing collection of early Air Jordan models and Nike running sneakers is WOW! This collector has obviously been at it for a while, amassing an incredible gathering of vintage OG heat. The collection is full of rare gems in their original form, some pretty beat-up and others in surprisingly good condition. Air Jordan-heads will lose their minds scoping out the original vintage Air Jordan 1′s in a variety of colorways and alternate versions, such as seldom-seen AJKO and Sky Jordan models. Also on the Jordan front, you can get a look at an Air Jordan II prototype, as well as the infamous Air Python.
Aside from Jordans, this collector also has a ton of original Nike running models from 1972-1985, including some crazy versions of the Cortez like a slip-on model and a special pair that was made for Elton John of all people. Enough talking about this jaw-dropping arsenal. Click to make the jump for more pics of the collection and a video that thoroughly explores some of the more notable pieces from this enviable stockpile of classics. Hats off to this gentleman for demonstrating a level of dedication that most sneakerheads only daydream about. Via Sneakers.Fr.

The Nike Auto Flight High takes the Nike Flight Lite High and updates it with a vulcanized sole similar to classic models like the Nike Blazer. In the process, what used to be a performance basketball shoe has now been transformed into a streamlined lifestyle model. You may have already seen our previews of the Black/Red version and the Football Club edition, and now we bring you a look at a pair that sports a very identifiable color scheme. The combination of purple and gold can’t help but to bring thoughts of the Los Angeles Lakers. A few months back, we showed you an Auto Force 180 that sports a very New York Knicks-ish royal/orange color scheme, and apparently, these will be repping for L.A to keep the NY/LA rivalry alive in the sneaker world even if the matchup is a little one-sided these days in the NBA. You can check out more pics after the jump and be on the lookout for these to hit select retailers as a Quickstrike in September. Via HS.

We reported that Reebok and Hip-Hop artist, Fabolous, were getting together to launch the new Reebok Classic Remix Footwear Collection that coincided with a five city concert tour that featured none other than Loso. The first stop on the five city tour was New York City, and Fabolous performed in front of a packed house at the Santos Party House this past Monday, August 24th. In addition to performing with Street Family artist, Paul Cain, at Santos, Fabolous also stopped by the Footlocker in Herald Square to sign autographs and meet with fans. Hot 97′s Peter Rosenberg and K. Foxx were both in attendance at Footlocker, while Fabolous’ new friend Adrienne Bailon made an appearance at the concert.

Kiks Tyo uses a typeface strikingly similar to a style of italics well known in Beaverton, Oregon. Nike doesn’t own their font but Kiks probably has the part of your mind linking girls and sneakers on lock. Their latest tee shirt is a team effort with China’s FLY skateboard shop. It depicts a lovely lady in Nike SB Blazer ‘Fly Milks’ from two years back and a milk jug with missing person graphics. Expect this one soon at FLY locations. via FRESHNESS

With back-to-school fever rapidly approaching, we thought we’d give you a look at some of the upcoming Nike releases that can have your kids or younger siblings looking fresh this September. Headlining the collection will be three new colorways of the Air Max 90 that will be sure to make some adult size sneakerheads green with envy. One pair sports a Black/Dark Grey upper with Volt accents and a dotted pattern on the midsole. The Air Max 90 will also sport a nice Black/Royal/White color scheme and the third version goes with a Black base, contrasted by some Magenta and Volt highlights and a star pattern printed on the mudguard.
Joining the Air Max 90′s will be a Dunk Low that also uses the same stars design along with a Black/White/Volt/Pink color scheme. Rounding out the upcoming collection is a Pale Blue Blazer High that also flaunts some stars on the Swoosh, and last, but not least, a Black/Grey/Hot Red Air Max 95 that we’ve already seen in adult sizes. All six pairs should be hitting select Nike retailers in September, just in time for some last minute back-to-school shopping.

Here it is! The photos almost all sneakerheads have been waiting for and our friends at Marquee Sole has the first detailed photos of the shoes since our previous preview of the Air Jordan VI – Black Infrared back in June. During the 1990-1991 NBA season, at the time of their release, Nike was pulling away from their competitors at a startling rate and so was Michael Jordan. These shoes were on his feet as he won his first NBA Championship and his second league MVP. For those who lived through that period, these shoes are definitely something special, this is the first time Jordan Brand has retroed them since 2000. For the new and old Air Jordan heads, you’ll have a chance to grab these come January 2010. Do these photos of the Air Jordan VI Black/Infrared Retro meet your expectations?
Update: These are Black/Varsity Red not Infrared.
Release Date: 01/2010
Color: Black/Varsity Red
Style: 384664-061

Nike Basketball blessed New York’s Hot 97 radio station with a Promo run of their very own Nike Hyperize basketball sneakers. A small size run of these Nike Hyperize Hot 97 Summer Jam Edition sneakers were given to various people involved with the radio station. While the shoe’s colorway is nothing special and is identical to the colorway released as a part of the Hyperize Asia City Pack, it does boast a special Hot 97 logo on the shoe’s tongue. These are very limited however you can cop a few pairs at Osneaker now.
