Air Jordan Moments Collection Hall of Fame Pack September 5th, 2009

The JORDAN MOMENTS COLLECTION brings together three legendary Jordan Brand sneakers to honor Michael Jordan’s ongoing contribution to the sport of basketball, pop culture and sneaker world.

Each shoe in the JORDAN MOMENTS COLLECTION represents a different stage of MJ’s legacy, beginning with the shoe that started it all, the AIR JORDAN 1. The JORDAN 6 RINGS highlights each of MJ’s six championships, and the AIR JORDAN 2009 honors the future of the brand.

The collection introduces the MOMENTS graphic, which was inspired by the collection of moments that defined MJ’s career. It features 23 of the most iconic numbers, or moments, including his average points per game (30.12), Rookie of the Year award (1985) and jersey numbers (23/45), to name a few.

Although the collection is slowing hitting retailers now, they will officially be available on Saturday, September 5, 2009.

Air Jordan Flight 45 Air Command Force Inspired Detailed Images

Back in May, we showed you a sneak preview of an upcoming version of the Jordan Flight 45 that was inspired by the infamous Air Command Force. The classic b-ball model was also recently honored by the Billy Hoyle Hyperize from the White Men Can’t Jump pack and now it shows up again in a somewhat unlikely place. It’s not unheard of for a Nike shoe to take on attributes of a Jordan shoe (see Elephant print), but rarely has it ever been the other way around. In a very interesting move, the Jordan Flight 45 will take on some signature traits from the Air Command Force, using a White leather upper with Black and Blue accents and a healthy dose of Neon Yellow, including a speckled midsole which is perhaps the most recognizable element from the original Command Force design. It is still unclear when and in what quantities these will be released, but we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop once further details have been confirmed. You can check out more detailed images after the jump, as well as some comparison pics of the OG Air Command Force.  Via FC.T

Nike Terminator High ND Black Varsity Maize White

You probably couldn’t get a pair of A.R.C.’s 0.44 Sticky Gum Rubber Nike Dunk Highs, but the pair pictured above could serve a suitable substitute for the masses.  The Nike Terminator High has that same white midsole atop gum, but these go for yellow and black in a simple colourblocking.  The lining is an interesting waffle knit.  It might enhance warmth, breathability, aesthetics or some combination, so we’ll keep an eye on that for future releases.  Get this pair from iD4Shoes on eBay.

Nike WMNS Dunk High Skinny Metallic Pack Fall 2009

Last week, we gave you a look at the wild Paint-Blotting Pack of women’s Dunk Highs and now its time to look to at another bold pack for the ladies that’s right around the corner. The Dunk High Skinny is returning in some flashy new colorways, donning some shiny materials for the Metallic Pack. Three colorways of the Dunk High Skinny will be dipped in metallic leather with a sequin-like fabric covering the midpanels. The pack will consist of silver/white, gold/black and red/black versions of the shoe, all flaunting an attention-grabbing look. Be on the lookout for these to hit select retailers in the very near future and keep reading for a closer look at all three. Via Warped.

Nike Air Max 95 Black Shadow Grey Snakeskin Spring 2010 Sample

Here is yet another Nike Spring 2010 sample that will be released in the first quarter of 2010, this Nike Air Max 95 features the use of snakeskin embossed leather to give it an exotic look and feel to the shoe. The rather simple colorway of Black, Black, Dark Shadow, and Dark Grey are complimented nicely when pieced together on this Nike AM95. The Grey color being used on the snakeskin leather. This is one of the more interesting materials we’ve seen used on the Air Max 95. You can pick up this pair of size 9 samples via Cigar0330 on eBay.

Nike Hypermax NFW McFly CANCELLED

To the disappointment of many, we are sad to report that the eagerly anticipated U.S. release of the McFly edition of the Nike Hypermax has apparently been cancelled. The shoe was slated to drop this weekend alongside the Tennis Ball Hypermax NFW. The Tennis Ball version will still hit stores, but the McFly has been scratched, reportedly because of legal issues with Universal Studios, who owns the rights to the Back to the Future franchise. It hardly seems like a bad business idea to bring new attention and buzz to your 20 plus year old movie, but we’re sure the studio has their reasons. As you might expect, the upcoming McFly edition of the Hyperdunk Low that was scheduled for a Spring 2010 release will also likely get the axe, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted if anything changes.

Nike Air Max Abasi ACG Dark Army Dragon Red Classic Olive

Here comes the latest Nike ACG Air Max Abasi.  These are suited to be your favourite for hikes through the fall with a tonal brown and black getup.  Bright red and yellow come in on the Swoosh, tongue and heel pull.  This burst of colour really differentiates the browns and makes it easier to pick out the ripstop nylon on the underlay.  These have a carbon fiber forefoot midsole, a feature that may prove to be part of the Abasi’s signature look.  They’re available now from retailers like StepToRun on eBay.
