There’s something about seeing pics of unreleased samples that’s so bittersweet. On the one hand, it’s in our nature as sneakerheads to want to see every Air Jordan colorway ever produced, but it can be a hard pill to swallow when you see some of the incredible kicks that never made it to retail. In the case of this Bordeaux Air Jordan VII, the colorway is nothing new to Jordan fans, but how bad does it burn you to know that these classics almost made it to stores as a Retro release? Apparently, these size 9 samples were created back in 2001, but were eventually scratched in favor of the “Raptors,” which were brought back in 2002. As of now, there is no plan to re-release these gems anytime soon, so needless to say, there are a lot of collectors out there that would kill to get their hands on these. The good news is that you can check out a ton of images after the jump, and if you’re ready to drop some serious dough, this incredibly rare size 9 sample is available now from everyonesenemy on eBay.

The truth, those is the mf’n truth, but we get the raptor 7s twice in less than 7 yrs. Its cool for now, I bet JB bring them out cuz they runnin out of ideas anyway.

JB would released this soon…..they are running out of ideas and to push JBrand up again they would do so…but don’t expect the real Bordeaux,just another variant with something diferent ( material,colorway,something!!! ) we all know JB…..But really i don’t care…..i wan t a pair.

Yes, I had these back in the day(92′). I used to rock’em with various cross/colors. (that was in, back then) I took the finest chick at my school on a date to see “boomerang” wearin’ these. I was killing! Now, do you see the kind of memories people have, because of Jordans. Re-release these, or bring that exact same colorway back on some other Mikes.
