This Nike Air Max 90 epitomizes the collection of Air Max runners we expect for the holiday season drop. It goes with a simple white upper that combines leather and nylon for a faint tonal effect. Yellow from the sockliner carries over to an interesting pattern on the black midsole. Its as if the yellow dots are a collection of tiny holes in some kind of amazing cushioning system full of sun. That might be a slight exaggeration, but there’s definitely something special on the sole. It’s the insole, which is adorned with a running waffle iron character that shouts out the earlier Swoosh runners that preceeded the 90 and ties together the Nike Running legacy.
