When it was announced that Dwyane Wade had in fact signed with Jordan Brand, sneakerheads instantly began imagining what Wade’s first Jordan shoe would look like, but it was also hard to keep from thinking about all the classic OG models that would fit right in with the Miami Heat color scheme. The NBA recently held its annual Media Day and to the delight of Jordan fans, D-Wade was proudly flaunting his new affiliation with a pair of “Bred” Air Jordan XI’s. In all likelihood, it will be a while before we see Wade’s first signature Jordan shoe, so for the time being let’s hope we see some more OG heat making its way back to the NBA floor.

Yeah D-Wade finally lookin right in sum BRED XI’s u gotta luv it u gotta luv it. Now if his alma-mater Marquette can get linked on with Jordan Brand they could make so many hot Jordan 1-14 retros in he Laney colorway it would be sick!!!

when we met like a month ago i told d wade to wear 11 cuz it matches their uni’s and AJ 11′s rocks!! well here you go media day 09-10… wow he really did wear them 11 bred’s..

T-dizzle got it right! D-Wade in the Heat away jersey with the Citrus VII’s would be the best look I have seen for an NBA player in a long time!

hmmm this would be interesting, because miami heat players doesnt rock white shoes for their home and away jerseys they always wear black sneakers, the only time they wear whites are with those Red secondary road unis. i hope they change it soon so we can see d-wade rocking the concords during their home games!

I’m on the “D-Wade on Jordan, look at the Heat PEs” bus just as much as everyone else, but it’s not going to be that much different than when Eddie Jones ran it. Most of the general release blend right in with the Heat color blocking, with maybe a couple of mods here and there. The wait-and-see is going to be on the signature shoe and the Marquette colorways.
If he wanted to break necks, Wade should throw on a pair of Joe Johnson Vs, in the retro Hawks colorway. OR, rock the BReds with the laces from the black Zoom T-Bugs. Now that’s Fire!
