Earlier this month, we showed you a sneak preview of a very special edition of the Zoom Kobe IV that honors some recent achievements in Kobe’s career. Individual accolades have already been covered with the NBA Finals versions that were scrawled with some of the Black Mamba’s stats and numbers, and now we get a look at a pair with more of a team emphasis. Last year, Kobe was a member of the Olympic gold medal winning U.S. basketball team, as well as the NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers. This Zoom Kobe IV honors both accomplishments with an interesting version of the shoe that incorporates elements of the color schemes from both teams. Adding to that, these kicks are also decorated with some snakeskin graphics and a black mamba illustration as well as two different insoles, one recognizing the Olympic victory and the other acknowledging Kobe’s 4th ring with the Lakers. As usual, MarqueeSole has a few sizes in stock early, so if you want yours ahead of the game, you’d better act fast.

Shortly after the announcement that House of Hoops will be opening 7 new locations in the U.S., it was revealed that the renowned stores would also be making their way to Europe. With stores about to open on Oxford Street in London and Les Halles in Paris, Nike has decided to commemorate the openings with two Supreme versions of the Hyperize that give some love to some of the local b-ball squads from the two respective cities. A Varsity Royal/Black/White edition reps for the London Capital, while the Sapphire Blue/White/Sport Red pair gets its color inspiration from Paris Levallois. Look for both colorways to hit the House of Hoops in Harlem in limited quantities tomorrow, September 24th. Via FootLockerUnlocked.

Either young Anna Finley is an even more astute sneakerhead than your author (and/) or she just has good taste in kicks. Anna made the rarely seen Nike Air Max Zenyth her very own, torching the upper with an eye-poppingly bright palette. There’s pink, yellow and orange everywhere on top of a lime green midsole. Even with that crazy colour scheme, the unlined areas of toe and around the ankle collar that are partially transparent because of the gold netting steal the show. As if her signature weren’t all over it, Anna added some sketches and a few choice phrases. All in all, a happy shoe for a great cause. Check more photos after the jump and jump on these and the entire Doernbecher Freestyle Collection when they drop this November.

The first clear look we got at the Air Max LeBron VII was a GS model all the way back in May and now we get a look at another version that will be hitting shelves next year just for the kids. This Air Max LeBron VII uses a bold combination of color and materials to ensure that this colorway separates itself from the pack. The shoe sports a mix of patent and smooth Black leather on the upper with heavy Pink Fire accents featured throughout the design including a gradient effect on the Flywire section. Please also note that unlike some GS models that trim down the Air bubble for smaller sizes, the kids’ version of the Air Max LeBron VII flaunts a full 360 Air Max unit. Youngsters and petite-footed ladies will get a crack at these when they arrive in stores this coming January. Via FootLockerUnlocked.

By now, you may have already gotten a closer look at the P-Rod III, Skinny Dunk High and Air Jordan VI from the 2009 Doernbecher Freestyle project, and now we turn our attention to the Air Force 1 Low. The shoe was designed by Bradley Bowlby of Stevenson, Washington, who prides himself as a chef-in-training. For this meal, Bradley whipped up a delicious new version of the Air Force 1 with a variety of personal touches. The shoe sports sections of brown suede towards the front of the shoe and the mid and heel areas are covered by a wild pattern made up of dogs, deer, dirtbikes, forks and spoons. Additional touches are supplied by a blue Swoosh, yellow lining and insole, a black decorated midsole and a colorful camouflage printed outsole. There’s a lot going on here, but it all comes together nicely to give the Air Force 1 a fun attention-grabbing appearance. Like the others, these will be available in November with all proceeds going to the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. Great work Bradley!

Lebron James recently visited BET’s 106 & Park while he was in New York promoting his new movie, More Than A Game. When he vistied with Rocsi and Terrence J. he was seen wearing a throwback St. Vincent’s St. Mary’s varsity jacket to go along with his Nike Air Max Lebron VII More Than A Game sneakers. The jacket definitely matched the brand new Air Max Lebron VII More Than A Game Tour edition sneakers but what we’re left wondering is which cities More Than A Game Lebron VII’s was LBJ wearing?

Last year’s groundbreaking Nike Hyperdunk gave birth to this year’s Hyperize, and now the Makayladunk? It’s less accurate that this colourful sneaker above is an offspring of the Hyperdunk and more the vision of a special girl named Makayla. The young Miss Hansen designed the classic Nike Skinny Dunk High with a multicoloured basketball printed underlay and a dope tonal blue pebbled leather overlay. There is alot going on here, but the white tongue and midsole, black patent leather Swooshes and rainbow coloured laces all help it blend in nicely. Get ready for these to drop in November with the rest of the Doernbecher Freestyle Collection and take a look at some great closeup shots after the jump.

Kid Cudi was just in Las Vegas at TAO for the Official Album Release Party for his debut record “Man On The Moon: The End Of Day”, the Kid was seen rocking a pair of Clarks Wallabee in brown leather. This change is no surprise for us as his peers have also gone beyond the sneaker for a new look. Kid Cudi who makes our Celebrity Feet often is usually in fresh Air Jordans or similarly rare kicks. Paul Pierce was also seen at the party but we were unable to get a shot of what he was wearing.

Tony ‘Mr. Boober’ Taylor’s Air Jordan 1 design for last year’s Nike x Doernbecher Freestyle stole the show. This collaborative effort is now in its sixth year so it seems fitting to see the sixth Air Jordan play a central role. Jordan Dark designed Mike’s first championship winning sneaker with the colours of that year’s National League champions in mind. As we saw him smiling, holding the finished product and rocking an ‘A’ emblazoned New Era, it was clear that Jordan loves the Atlanta Braves. There’s also an outside chance that he drew these up to save Big Boi from further embarrassment. Then again, his take on the AJVI adds a baseball feel with raised ‘pinstripes’ to an all navy blue nubuck upper, lending credence to the Braves theory. Splashes of red and gold also give these the Olympic feel and the translucent sole is a nice finishing touch.

Manny always makes me laugh during the post-fight interviews with his awkward smile and chuckle, along with his minimal-worded answers. But when he’s in the ring, he means “bizness”. These Trainer 1′s are just the same. With the momentous victory over Ricky Hatton this past May, Nike shows love and respect by creating a Lights Out version of the new Trainer 1. Obviously insinuating the use of glow-in-the-dark, but also a play on words for Hatton’s performance during their bout.
Using glow is not the only stand-out feature to the shoe. Nike goes all out with intricate detail and branding- contrast stitching, MP embroidered tags outside and inside the tongue, laser graphics on the heel, and insoles decked out in illustration. Let’s not forget about packaging though. The shoes are wrapped in all over gold foil monogram pattern paper, all going into one of the best designed boxes we’ve seen in a while. These will only be available for sale at the Nike flagship store in Fort Bonifacio, Philippines- appropriate, being that it’s Pacman’s native land. Though only one pair per person, the matching shirt is open to three per person. via KC31.
