With a slew of North and East-reppin’ Nike Dunks newly on store shelves, it’ll soon be time for their South and West coast counterparts. The Nike Air Force 1 Low pictured above looks downright royal in a faux-croc design. Not only is it hewn in majestic tonal purples, but it’s wearing the NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers’ colours with the addition of yellow patent leather. They’re a Supreme-level release, but make no mistake, it’s Undefeated’s Eddie Cruz taking the wild theme all the way here, adding a 0.44 Sticky Rubber outsole so they’ll be ready for any kind of weather October’s release has in store. via SF

Nike runners are definitely foreshadowed by the styles blown up by the rise of mainstream sneaker craze. Do research- OG sneaker heads collect mostly runners and trainers. Aesthetics and colorways are dope… fact. Even for those who learn to appreciate, Classic BW’s, or “Big Windows”, are still underrated. Nike Sportswear drops these two bad boys and proves non-believers wrong. Both pairs seemingly subtle with black uppers- one with mesh, nubuck and synthetic, and the other in mesh and leather. But a double-take reveals pop in the the form of hot pink and a classic voltage yellow. Notice on the hot red pair, gradient laces, an effect usually applied for other accents of sneakers. Definitely some heaters. via JD Sports.

We’ve already seen Kanye wearing his Louis Vuitton collaboration sneakers, the Jaspers, in all Black on a number of occasions including at the recent Fat Joe video shoot and of course the Jay-Z 9/11 Benefit Concert at Madison Square Garden just a couple weeks ago and now he’s been spotted with them on again, only this time he was seen wearing them while leaving Capitol City in Los Angeles with his girlfriend, Amber Rose. Rumors are surfacing that Kanye will still go on tour as scheduled with Lady GaGa, and that tickets will go on sale on September 25th. Images via Celebuzz

Back in June, we showed you the special 5th anniversary edition of the Air Penny II that was created for the Sole Collector crew, and now they bring us a look at another intriguing version of the classic basketball model. This time around, the Air Penny II sports an all Black foam/leather/nubuck upper with some Metallic Copper accents subtly thrown in to add some serious flavor to the colorway. We already showed you an upcoming version of the Air Foamposite that will go with a copper look and now another Penny shoe gets dipped in the metal hue. It’s still unclear if these will be a retail release or part of some special limited collaboration, so stay tuned for further info and you can check out some more pics after the jump. Via SC.

Having seen its namesake print skyrocket in popularity over the past year, the Nike Air Safari is poised for a big comeback. The first foot in the door is a pair that stays relatively close to the original Safari 87 palette. We get an array of blacks and greys accented by orange on the stitching and outsole. It’s such a delicate balance that even without white splashes, they avoid looking too much like Halloween shoes. That doesn’t mean you can’t cop em and rock em til the jack o’ lanterns rot, though; they’re available early in sample size US mens 9 from verbdws on eBay.

We’ve seen more and more sneaker-inspired art of late. It seems like Nike has either offered its Air Max 1 as a canvas, artists love the design, or both, because the AM1 as a muse is the hot pick. British artist Benedict Radcliffe applied his signature wireframe technique to the ’87s’, molding 10mm blue steel tubing until it looks like Tron come to life. 3.5 Meters (11.4 feet) long, this thing is nearly twice as big as you, so you might be best off just looking at the photos. via FRESHNESS

When such a brand like Nike does a “first,” it’s sure to be some groundbreaking stuff. But it’s hard to see a premier for a product that has been around for what seems to be forever. Air Force 1′s? Please, Uptowns have been hitting streets for over 25 years. LeBron branding? Also seen and done. But this one needs props because this is the very first time a LeBron AF1 is available for kids. The AF1 GS features a full leather upper, with perforated leather in the mid panel. A clean colorway, sporting a red vamp, swoosh and eyestay, and a gold sole, I’m sure this is yet another pair that sneakerheads wished didn’t only come in small size runs.

Asics’ Directional Level premium collection was unveiled two weeks ago and the first two drops are already about to hit retailers. The Chinese Tiger is starting things off with two ‘secondary’ releases, passing over the omnipresent Gel-Lyte III in favour of a Gel-Lyte Speed and one GT-II. The former has the same split tongue as the GLIII and we’ve rarely seen it as sharp as this black, green and purple colourway that’s perfect for Halloween. The GT-IIs go with vivid shades of purple and blue leather atop a white base, all blended together with a grey heelcup and midsole speckling. Via Endorsed.

Nike will be releasing a new version of it’s Air Maxim 1 that was introduced to us earlier this year during the Fall 2009 Season from Nike Sportswear. This new colorway looks to resemble something that might have to do with LIVESTRONG, however details are scarce at the moment. What we do know is that it’s being called the Nike Air Maxim 1 Torch, and from what our sources are telling us, Torch is a new material developed by Nike that makes the shoe lighter and more breathable. From what it looks like Torch is the material used on the toebox of this Air Maxim 1. Look for more details to come regarding this Nike Air Maxim 1 Torch. via Glltn.

Any time you give a young kid the power to customize a sneaker, expect crazy results. We’ve seen some colourful and totally unique stuff come out of this year’s Nike x Doernbecher Freestyle Collection. This is probably the most toned down of all of the six special sneakers, a look that you wouldn’t be at all shocked to see at the mall. Molly Martin put her spin on the Nike Shox NZ runner, adding a Miami-like palette plus purple to a white upper. All of these kicks will drop in November with proceeds going to help the hospital.
