A few days ago, we gave you a look at a new Big Nike High that adopts the look of the Eggplant Air Foamposite on its upper, and now it’s time to check out another classic Nike model that’s also paying tribute to the Posite family. This Blazer High Premium borrows the color and foam material from the original Varsity Blue/Black Air Foamposite to blend the two styles together in a pretty fresh way. The design keeps it pretty simple, using a Varsity Blue foam upper with a Black midsole and accents and even a strip of Black carbon fiber material along the bottom as a thoughtful added Foamposite touch. These stunners are expected to hit House of Hoops this month, so stay tuned for specific release info, and be sure to take a look at some more pics of the Foamposite Blazer High Premium after the jump. Nike Sportswear and Cassette Playa are collaborating again on this new Men’s Dunk High Premium that is a part of the larger Nike Sportswear Holiday 2009 Collection. Cassette Playa is a men’s brand started by UK designer, Carri Mundane, who worked with Nike Sportswear last year on a pair of Tier Zero Blazer High’s. This new Dunk High was previewed months ago but now we have some detailed shots of the shoe Cassette Playa worked on with Nike and it seems like there is a large amount of graphics that are featured on the shoe courtesy of Cassette Playa. These have a tentative release date of September 26th at atmos in Japan, stay tuned for the release date here in the US. via atmos

With all this autoclavin’ goin’ on in Beaverton, let’s not forget that the initial surge in this war for vulcanization was on the bottom of the Nike Talache AC.  This one is a midtop that has an elegant all black suede upper.  The foxing band is also black, making a smooth colourblock with the white midsole.  The yellow on the top eyelets is back on the outsole, plus some tiny black speckles.  These have just enough going on to make them worth a look and you can cop em from Dunk.com.cn

Nike will be releasing a new Terminator Hi ENG this year that continues to draw inspiration from hiking boots, last year a similar boot was released in Black and Purple, that features a similar aesthetic. This year Nike Sportswear has taken that same Terminator Hi ENG silhouette and given it an upgrade by using premium crocodile embossed leathers on the upper of the shoe and pairing it against a pair of White laces. Between the new exotic leather in Black and the Whit shoelaces, from a distance you’d almost think that these were a pair of snowboarding boots. Look for the Nike Terminator Hi ENG to be released at select Nike Sportswear accounts this Saturday, September 19th. via NOS

It looks like Paul Rodriguez may have borrowed Nike’s East vs West Rivals Pack theme for his latest signature drops.  We know Paul loves LA, so seeing his Nike SB Zoom P-Rod III in Dodgers colours makes perfect sense.  This pair goes with a robyal blue nubuck upper, a shade that looks great with black on the Monarch-printed toecap and heel.  As for the vulcanized version of his older sneaker, the Nike SB P-Rod 2.5, it looks like the Philadelphia Phillies throwbacks circa 1980 with its smooth mix of deep burgundy and carolina blue on the lining.  Stick with Sneaker News for updates on both.  via N-SB.org

Kanye West was spotted out in the public for the first time since this week after his fisaco at the MTV VMA’s over the past weekend. Mr. West was seen leaving a Los Angeles recreation center with some members of his entourage including his manager, Don C., both were spotted in a pair of Air Jordan VIII Aqua’s, one of the most loved Jordans by many Jordan fanatics all over the world. Often overlooked in favor of the Court Victory series and Pump Omni Lite, the Reebok Pump AXT Plus is back in two new colourways.  One looks like it’d be at home with the ‘Miami Vice’ Court Victory 2s we saw last week.  It’s mostly white with turquoise on the lining, tongue and midsole and just a touch of red on the bottom eyelet loop.  The others also stick with a trio of colours, opting for gold accents on a black leather construction where white comes in on the midsole.  You can grab the white pair, black pair or both today from Size?

On May 2 of this year, Manny Pacquiao knocked out Ricky Hatton.  Pacquiao is a national hero in his native Philippines and Nike showed how much they love PacMan by debuting the Nike Trainer 1 in red and gold even before their promotional events this summer with the OG Air Trainer 1 .  It’s a good thing they waited to release these, since we all know how important emotions are in sports like boxing.  Yes, it’s far more appropriate to release this ‘Lights Out’ version of the Manny Pacquiao x Nike Trainer 1 after the knockout (could you imagine Hatton’s reaction had these been released *before* the fight?!).  With the red/gold joints, Nike gave 100 to friends and family and sold another hunned at LA’s Undefeated.  With these glow in the dark beauties, they’re releasing next Friday, September 25th at Nike’s flagship store at Fort Bonifacio, Philippines.  They’re extremely limited and you can only grab one pair per person, but make up for it by copping up to the personal limit of 3 ‘PACMAN KNOWS’ tee shirts.  Enjoy the photos and let us know if you plan to hop the Pacific to cop these.  via KC31

Earlier today, we brought the good news that a pair of Metallic Silver Air 1/2 Cents have just hit eBay, and it looks like they’re not alone. Joining the Metallic Silver samples is another version of the eagerly anticipated Air Penny 1/2 Cents. This Black/Green Spark edition gives the 1/2 Cent one of its boldest looks yet thanks to the crisp contrast between the Black on Black upper and the Green Spark and Metallic Silver highlights. This colorway isn’t expected to hit stores until December, so as you might expect, the price tag on these will be a little higher than the Silver pair. If you’re prepared to pay a little extra to have them early, like the others, this size 9 sample is up for grabs now from verbdws on eBay.

Vandal-A is at it again with some fresh new t-shirts that pay tribute to recent Hall of Fame inductee, Michael Jordan. Two new styles have just become available, both honoring Michael and his connection to some other A-list names of note. The “Perform Like Mike” shirt is a clever nod to the infamous Biggie verse on “Victory” where he claims to perform like Mike every night. You know… “any one Tyson, Jordan, Jackson.” The lyrics to the song provide the backdrop to the large text on the front and the silhouettes of all three Mikes are placed at the bottom as a very nice touch. The other shirt sports an on-court pic of Michael D-in’ up on Magic Johnson during the 1987 NBA All Star Game. The photo of both MJ’s appears at the bottom of the shirt with the year “87″ on the back. It seems like everybody’s on tour in Asia this summer, including Hong Kong’s own Michael Lau.  Wooden character figurines are at the center of his ‘Gardener Tenth’ Exhibition, each a collaboration with a well-known name in the streetwear game.  The most notable addition isn’t a toy, but instead this Nike SB Stefan Janoski.  It’s done in a lighter wood grain than his Nike SB Dunk from a couple years back and looks dope with a white sole and laces.  These will drop on October 3rd to end the exhibitions so stick with Sneaker News for updates.  via HB
