Nike Big Nike High Eggplant Foamposite September 09

We’ve seen a couple Nike Hyperdunks get the Foamposite treatment.  This is another Nike Basketball shoe, albeit from an era gone by.  The Big Nike High is back with a look that ties its whole 25+ year history together.  These feature the iridescent eggplant Posite upper we’ve come to know and love, which looks excellent atop the combination of a black midsole and speckled grey outsole.  These come as something of a surprise and should drop later this month at Nike Sportswear retailers like Foot Locker.  We’ll keep you posted.

Nike Air Max Spot Up Black White Baltic Blue Varsity Maize

You may have already seen some colorways of Dirk Nowitzki’s Air Max Spot Up, but this new version gives the shoe a totally new look thanks to a vibrant color scheme. Last week, we gave you a look at the Air Command Force-inspired Zoom BB III, and now it seems like this pair bears certain color palette similarities to the Sidney Deane edition of the White Men Can’t Jump Hyperize. The shoe features a Black leather/nubuck upper with hints of Baltic Blue and Varsity Maize, as well as some touches of Red and White. If you’re feeling the flavored up edition of the Air Max Spot Up, you can find a pair now at ShuhYou.

Air Jordan XII (12) GS Black Varsity Purple

If it wasn’t perfectly apparent already, 2010 is going to be a big year for the Air Jordan XII. With two OG colorways and the Rising Sun edition already waiting in the wings, now we get a look at a new colorway dropping exclusively for the youngsters, which means of course a lot of ladies will have the pleasure as well. This version of the Air Jordan XII sports what appears to be a Black suede upper with Varsity Purple and Teal accents and a patent leather mudguard, giving the shoe a Charlotte/New Orleans Hornets feel. Specific release info is still unknown, but kids and female sneakerheads can get a pair early courtesy of MarqueeSole.

Def Jam x adidas 25th Anniversary Collection Redman Superstar II + Forum

Doc’s Da Name 2000 . . . and 9.  Such is the case with this latest adidas Forum.  Whereas his Superstar II was the logical pairing of tonal red leathers and one of the most famous silhouettes in hip-hop’s, and certainly Def Jam’s 25 year history.  If there’s a legacy involved here, it looks like it could be USA Basketball, since the Funk Doctor Spock got down with a gold, red, white and blue palette for the Forum.  It’s mostly blue on the upper with splashes of red and gold, plus a nice white outsole that doesn’t feature the speckled outsole found on the Superstar II.  Both the Superstar II and Forum are available now on eBay.   Photos: 95Soleman/Shaolin8

Air Jordan Flight 45 Black Varsity Red Air Jordan XII Inspired

Back in July, we gave you a look at two upcoming colorways of the Jordan Flight 45 that get their inspiration from the Air Jordan XII. With all the AJ XII releases on the way, the Flight 45 will help spread the fever with a third colorway with obvious similarities to another classic Air Jordan XII colorway. As you probably know, the “Flu Game” Air Jordan XII’s are on their way back to stores, and this Flight 45 will be paying tribute. The shoe sports a Black/Varsity Red color scheme, with the material on the toe section mimicking the pebbled effect of the OG Flu Game Air Jordan XII. Release info is still unknown for these, but with the other AJ XII inspired Flight 45′s slated for a Holiday 2009 drop, it’s reasonable to assume that these will hit stores at around the same time. Stay tuned for further details, and you can get a closer look after the jump. Via FC.T.

Celebrity Feet: Jay Z & Friends 9/11 Benefit Concert (Madison Square Garden)

Most of you heard about Jay-Z’s epic 9/11 Benefit Concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City this past weekend, where tickets were going for upwards of $50,000 on the street, now here is a visual recap of the concert where Jay-Z brought out a number of special guests that included Kanye West, Rihanna, John Mayer, Diddy, and more. When it comes to what the artists were wearing, Jay-Z was again wearing a pair of Black and White high top sneakers that featured various straps, the same pair he wore while in concert a couple months ago. Kanye went along with the theme of “all Black everything” by wearing an all Black outfit topped off with a pair of his collaboration Louis Vuitton Jasper’s in all Black. Diddy was seen wearing a pair of old Nike SB Trainer TW II’s.

UPDATE: The shoes that Jay-Z was wearing at this concert are from a new sneaker brand out of Southern California called radii. The radii model that Hova has been seen wearing is known as the 420 Top. via radii

DQM x Nike Air Max 90 Current Huarache Bacon

Nothing quite captures the feel of a butcher shop-themed sneaker store than some delicious bacon. A few days back, we gave you a look at the HUF edition of the Nike Air Max 90 Current Huarache and now its time to turn our attention to the Dave’s Quality Meat version. Staying with the East vs. West concept, the DQM Air Max 90 Current Huarache sports a crispy bacon-inspired color scheme, using shades of brown, red, pink and creme, very similar to the now-classic original DQM Air Max 90. An exact release date has still not been confirmed, but we’ll keep you posted as info becomes available. For now, you can get a look at some more pics of the kicks after the jump, as well as some shots of the original DQM x Nike Air Max 90 collaboration to compare with. Via SnkrFrkr.
