There are 1 0f 1′s and then there are 1 of 1′s, and this pair is about as juicy as it gets. A few weeks back, we gave you a sneak preview of the sample pair of Black on Black Air Yeezy’s with the Air Jordan midsoles, and now the shoe has finally hit eBay as part of the annual Doernbecher/Nike charity partnership. According to the preview video that we saw a few weeks ago, even Kanye himself never got a look at these, so here’s a rare chance to one-up Mr. West and contribute to a very worthy cause in the process. In addition to the mouthwatering Yeezy’s, the winner of the auction will also receive a special White laser-etched collector’s box and one of Mark Smith’s original sketches for the Air Yeezy.
As you might assume, the price on these is going too get pretty ludicrous, but there’s not a collection on earth that wouldn’t get a nice boost from these beauties, not to mention that you’ll be helping others in the process. Keep reading after the jump for some crisp detailed images of the shoe, and if you’re ready to enter the bidding fray for these ultra-rare size 12′s, you can check out the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital charity auction now on eBay. We told you last month to expect more Pumas with the Full Bubble treatment and here they are. Puma’s Archive Bubble Tech Pack adds the Disc Blaze runner and Sky 2 Hi doubly-strapped hightop to the Mids we had seen. This pack’s theme is black uppers atop that huge bubble cushion in a bright accent colour that matches the scant few touches up top. The Disc Blazes get a red treatment, Sky 2s are yellow and Mids go green. All three drop this December at Puma retailers like Overkill.

The Nike Zoom Ashiko ACG is one of the most outrageous hiking boots ever created. Named after the spikes ninjas wear for climbing, it has the chunky sole you’d expect from a serious boot. The upper looks like something that would be more at home in a sci-fi film. This pair goes with the can’t-fail black/red/grey palette, adding strands of red Flywire atop the tonal grey upper. Take a look at more photos after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more info in advance of their October 2009 release.

Here come the other two members of New Balance’s Feral Creature Collection. The collaboration with Leftfoot and mita sneakers takes each shoe as a chance to express an animal vision. We’ve already seen the ‘Mouse’ and ‘Lion’ pairs and pictured above is the Peacock, which is probably the most colourful of the group. The appropriately named Black Crow follows the jump and it bears a certain undeniable resemblance to the Chirping Bird Nike SB Dunk Low sample we saw yesterday. As for the New Balances, they’re available if you want to email Taiwan’s Invincible. via FRESHNESS

Even the best of sneakerheads can probably count on zero fingers the number of folks they’ve seen rocking this rare Nike design. That number is unlikely to rise with Tim Biskup’s work on a limited run of Nike Zvezdochkas. The shoe features a swiss cheese-like polymer upper that provides support for the inner mesh bootie. The former on this crazy edition is white, the latter white with colourful splotches. Like always, the magic happens at night with these, as the cage glows in the dark. It’s a really crazy look, but unfortunately, there are only 10 pairs of these in the world. That means that unless you’re close with Nike CEO Mark Parker or his fam, you’re left just looking at these. via SxH

If Bodega is teaming up for the cold weather, their Beantown rivals Concepts had better get some help. In steps New Balance, bringing along the always smooth 1500 runner and the new 875 model. Both offer a tonal brown mix of suede and leather, which looks great next to a cream coloured midsole that has red accents. That red is also in the laces, which ties the whole thing together both figuratively and literally. Stick with Sneaker News for updates on this collaboration. via Culture Shoq

Here’s a new look at one of the most favorably received Jordan Brand mashups. The Air Jordan 16.5 Team appears above in a nice Chicago home colourway where a white leather upper is framed in black with a few nice touches of red, including the midsole. From the midfoot back around the heel, this Zoom Air equipped unit perfectly melds the Air Jordan XVI’s (16) open design with the XVII’s (17) swooping heel cup. These should drop sometime before Thanksgiving and we’ll keep you posted. via FC.T

It seems like Nike has gotten into the habit of releasing new Zoom Kobe IV colourways on a weekly basis. How better to leverage the reigning NBA Champion/Olympic Gold Medalist and his best signature shoe to date than to use it as a canvas for a huge range of palettes. These would be at home in Los Angeles’ Staples Center, where their heavily white construction would match the alternate white unis. Of course, they wouldn’t be as well tied in to the Lakers’ garb without the spread of purple accents including Flywire and laces. Splatters on the translucent forefoot midsole tie it all together nicely. Grab samples in US mens 9 and 9.5 today from Marquee Sole.

Extended hightop sneakers were the big trend of early 2009. Supra Skytops and Nike Air Yeezys were on everyone’s tongues and a lucky few’s feet. As we look forward to the cooler months, we’ve seen a new and equally striking trend emerging in the tendency toward mis-matched pairs of sneakers. It started with the outrageous SWAGGER Terminator and now we see a mashup between Japan’s atmos and Ubiq on the Amir hightop. This sneaker is the best of both worlds, adding asymmetrical accents to a black upper of achilles-eating height. The right shoe goes with purple and pink, the right with green and yellow. These and co-branded nylon jackets will drop next month at atmos.

Now that Nike Snowboarding has a second model in the new Zoom Kaiju, they can unveil a full collection of boots for the fall. The Nike Zoom Force 1 comes in a tie-dyed edition, a black and brown printed model, one with brown and metallic copper leathers and an awesome all-white pair. The Kaiju will release its black and blue colourway plus one that calls back to the ACG Air Mowabb. Keep reading to take a closer look at the entire Nike Snowboarding Fall 2009 boot collection after the jump.
