The Nike RT1 has become a mainstay in the Swoosh catalog after playing a game of role reversal with Kanye West and his ‘big brother’, Jay-Z. Many saw the RT1 as a way to get the Air Yeezy hightop flavor to the masses but it’s certainly stepping out of the Yeezy’s shadow with a range of dope new colourways on deck. This one goes with a deep mahogany full grain leather, a hue that looks almost plum in some lighting thanks to the violet laces encouraging ones eyes to pick up the red. And it’s a fair trade too, cos your eyes will be encouraging you to cop these when you peep how well a gum rubber midsole ties the whole thing together. Cop em today from 95soleman on eBay.

Whether it was first welcomed or not by the general sneaker community, hybrids or new takes on original models has become commonplace for Nike. Having a huge following in more recent years, the Dunk has a new face. The “Autoclave Tier Zero” versions now have a vulcanized sole, which might be seen on plenty of other (skate) brands, only existed for Nike in the form of the Blazer. It can be assumed, though, that the higher names decided to follow suit with the recent burst of demand for the Blazer. Nonetheless, the vulcanized Dunk is here and can be copped in black or grey canvas today at 21 Mercer.

Nelly was spotted out in London leaving his hotel with a crisp pair of the recently released Air Jordan Force Fusion IV’s (4) in Black, Varsity Red, and Stealth on. The rapper then was seen partying at London nightclub, Maya. Nelly is one of the few celebrities that we typically always see in Air Jordan’s, so it comes as no surprise that he’d have a pair of these AJF 4′s on. In addition, Nelly had on a nice Louis Vuitton fleece hoodie, that we’re sure cost a lot more than the shoes. via Gossip Center

When you hear the word Nike followed by Day of the Dead, most sneakerheads will immediately think of the much sought-after Dunk SB version, but a new pack is on the way that will attempt to share in the success of the original. A few weeks back, we showed you a sneak preview of Nike’s upcoming Day of the Dead pack, followed up by a closer look at the Air Max 90 edition. Now we bring you a glimpse of the Dunk High installment of the pack. The shoe sports a Black leather upper and midsole with large sections of Purple skull-n-bones type graphics covering the overlay. As if that wasn’t enough, the kicks also feature a Poison Green Swoosh and lining with some bright Orange found on the tongue label and all over the contrast stitching on the upper. As an added bonus, the insole is also graced by a stylized skeleton illustration that fits right in with the spooky aesthetic of the Pack. If you’ve been kicking yourself for years for missing out on the first Day of the Dead Dunk, you will get your shot at these when they hit Nike Quickstrike accounts in early November. Via Dunkbar.

We first showed you some pics of this Air Max LeBron VII colorway last month and recently, they popped up again for a cameo in the LeBron James Nike Pro Combat commercial. Now, we get another look at this crisp Olympic-looking color scheme. The shoe features a White leather upper with large splashes of Navy Blue on the tongue, ankle section and outsole, as well as on the Flywire-threaded midpanel. Additional accents are provided by a Metallic Gold outline around the Swoosh and a few subtle hints of Red spread throughout. The White/Navy/Gold Air Max LeBron VII’s are expected to hit retail this fall, but if these pics are raising your anticipation levels, you can grab a pair early from MarqueeSole.

When he isn’t busy challenging Kobe Bryant in video game b-ball, you can be sure he’s preparing to avenge his Nuggets’ elimination at the hands of Bryant’s Lakers last June. Expect to see alot of these along the way during Melo’s regular season games away from Denver’s Pepsi Center. The Air Jordan Melo M6 pictured above in black will find its university blue and yellow hits reflected in the Rich-n-Creamies’ powder blue away unis. These are very limited but you can cop yours today from Osneaker

The Wu-Tang Clan and their legendary Nike Dunk High have been credited with starting the latest wave of sneakerhead culture. There’s so much street cred in the ‘W’ logo that adidas snuck it onto Method Man’s Superstar II, Fila used it to try to resurrect their hype and now a burgeoning brand seeks to co-opt the Shaolin steez. Dekline’s Killerbee lowtop comes predictably in black and yellow, atop a white vulcanized rubber sole that sports a yellow foxing band. At a penny shy of seventy bucks, these are a far cry from the nearly seven grand you’d expect to drop on a pair of Wu-Tang Dunks. Cop yours today from Millennium Shoes.

New York and Chicago were both part of Nike’s For Love of the City Pack early this year. Two of the nation’s three largest cities, we weren’t surprised to see them back for the latest City Pack. For the other two entrants, Nike picked two new cities, including one unlikely choice. Atlanta is a hotspot of sneakerhead culture in the south and this crazy black Big Nike High with its eye-catching textile side panels goes with the classic Hawks colourway of red, yellow and white for accents. It’s the Long Beach model in white, black and purple that’s somewhat puzzling. Aside from Snoop’s Chucks and of course Proper, it’s not the most obvious choice, but now the LBC has a pair of Nikes to call their own. You can do the same, just head to a local Nike Sportswear retailer, like their flagship store in New York. Via 21Mercer

There’s no denying that the Air Max 1 is having an amazing year for both new and OG colorways, and there is no sign of that slowing down through the Holiday ’09 season. Here we get a look at a fresh new style for the ladies, using a solid Beet Red suede/mesh upper with some crispy White accents to help provide some contrast. The color blocking on the upper is simple enough, but the real standout feature is the White midsole covered by Red speckles, giving the otherwise subtle design an extra stylish touch. If you like what you see, you can get a better look after the jump, and be on the lookout for these in women’s sizes this December. Via Dunk.

Chicago is America’s ‘Second City’, but the Bulls’ black, red and white colour scheme is number one for sneakers. Michael Jordan’s immense impact on sneakers and basketball are both evident if you ever stop to consider that before the fine-inducing Air Jordan 1, all basketball shoes were white. This new Nike Blazer High, then, celebrates Chi-town’s contribution to the sneaker game, adding red stitching and other details to a rich black leather design. Like the Blazers that quite literally reflect NYC, these are available at Nike Sportswear retailers including the 21 Mercer St. flagship store in New York.
