Having just showed an inside look at the new selection for the Royalefam Varsity Bones collection, The Thriller, here’s another preview to the third installment. The BRMC, or Black Rebel Motorpsycho Club, is fantasy biker gang that lives fast and dies young. The design attributes to the unconformity to society, and rather taking to the road with your loyal comrades. The BRMC Dunk is an intense mix of locks and chains, denim rivets, gang patches and zippers on quilted linings, and animal fur. Like The Thriller Blazer, this highway hellion is set to launch October 5th from the Royalefam site.

Back in June, we gave you a sneak preview of an updated version of the Air Trainer SC that will be hitting the shelves in 2010. Like the Air Trainer 1′s transition into the Trainer 1, The Trainer SC 2010 has also taken the classic design and modernized using new technologies like Flywire and a Free sole. This version of the shoe joins in on the ongoing Bo Jackson tribute by paying homage to Bo’s days on the diamond with some baseball glove leather used for the upper. In addition to the brown leather upper and tasteful white and black accents and gold contrast stitching, the shoe also flaunts some laser detailing on the ankle with a “Bo Knows 1989″ graphic. Exact release info is still unknown, but expect these to hit select retailers some time early next year.

If you were making a list of cities to include in a pack of sneakers, New York would be the hands down number one choice. The default capital for global sneakerhead culture is getting another pair of Nikes in its honour. This Nike Blazer High has an obvious Yankee appeal, from its navy blue and white construction to the even more obvious inclusion of pinstripes on the eyelets. ‘NYC’ embroidery under the side panel Swooshes set the story straight once and for all. Were it not for a freak injury to QB Sam Bradford in their opening loss to BYU, Oklahoma could count themselves among the undefeated members of this pack. Early last month we gave a detailed look at the meticulous new project, Varsity Bones, from Royalefam and SBTG. Having given a little teaser on their site, we give you a detailed look at the upcoming third installment of the Varisty Bones collection. Dubbed simply as “The Thriller,” this work of art is something which the writer bringing you this article will have to remember to keep refreshing the Royalefam page in order to ensure he gets his size. It seems that SBTG just couldn’t stop paying homage to the late, great King of Pop. Inspired by the MJ’s revolutionary musical short film, Thriller, SBTG himself hopes to have broken boundaries with this Blazer. The upper, resembling the famous red leather jacket, features studded collars, black satin, and a zipper baseline. Launching October 5th on the Royalefam site, no mere mortal can resist the evil of The Thriller.

The last of Michael Jordan’s Six Rings nearly didn’t happen. Jordan couldn’t tally a point in the closing seven minutes and his Chicago Bulls barely escaped the ugly game 7 of the 1998 Eastern Conference Finals, partially because Reggie Miller didn’t score in the game’s final 15 minutes. Despite that not-so-clutch performance, Reggie is still fondly remembered as one of the greatest shooters in NBA history, especially for his heroics against the Knicks in New York City’s Madison Square Garden. These sort of split the difference, commemorating Reggie’s soon-to-be Hall of Fame career with a Pacers Home colourway of the shoe he rocked that season. The Nike Air Total Max Uptempo pictured above is a clear sendup of the Hoosier state’s pro team’s uniforms. They go with white leather and plenty of maize and navy, including a navy and white pinstriped ‘wave’ along the side panels. These are available today at the Foot Locker House of Hoops.

Nike Vandals come in a variety of fabrics but nylon is definitely the first one to come to mind. This tendency birthed a whole series of Nike Dunk High Vandals, which are basically Dunk silhouettes hewn in nylon with a ribbed strip wrapping the shoe atop its midsole. Those same ribbed strips are present on these Vintage (and all) nylon Nike Vandal Highs, but instead of a vertical ribbing, these go with a diagonal cut for an ever so slightly different look. There’s a magenta pair with metallic silver and a tri-coloured strap. That canvas strap is repeated on a black and gold pair, but its purple stripes help that one escape joining the Steelers bandwagon. Expect these at Nike Sportswear retailers next month.

Though the sneakerheads there will never see them on local retail shelves, LeBron James showed off the latest colourway of his Asia Exclusive tertiary sneaker at the London stop for the More Than a Game World Tour. The Nike Zoom LeBron Ambassador II is pictured above in a denim look that looks both durable enough for China’s seemingly infinite outdoor courts and stylish enough for everyday wear. Nike is giving Gucci a little boost this season in the form of those sneakerheads who just have to match. Not one, but two Nike Dunk Highs with a Gucci-flavored design will hit shelves before ’09 runs dry. The one pictured above is Nike SB’s answer to the Nike Sportswear division’s East vs. West Rivals Pack entrant. Instead of ostrich leather and a gum sole, these go with frayed denim and a red bottom.
