Reebok’s response to this year’s trend toward higher and higher cut sneakers was to take two steps forward and one step back. Pictured above in its full and upright position, the Hellz Bellz x Reebok Top Down is a study in juxtaposition. It contrasts black to white, that simple colourway to the crazy fold-down design and a screened Marilyn Monroe and James Dean print on the inside to foil the simple upper. If you believe the insoles, this approach got Hellz and RBK “…Ten Steps Ahead of You!” Then again, they probably want you to wear these, so be a walking contradiction and cop yours when they release later this year. via HS
