Despite the iconic status enjoyed by the “Safari” print, the shoe that it first appeared on, the Air Safari ’87, is still somewhat of an obscure Nike model. While serious sneakerheads are well aware of the Air Safari, especially thanks to recent homages like the Air Max 1 and Air Force 1 editions, there are still a lot of people unaware of this underrated classic. This Holiday season, the Air Safari will be returning in a fresh new colorway that sticks close to the original formula, but uses some new shades of Grey and Orange and a new color blocking approach to give this version a look all its own.
