Nike Blazer Mid ND Black Hot Red Available

If you find that the Nike Blazer Mid is growing on you of late, it might actually be because it’s shrinking.  The Nike Blazer Mid ND adds two distinct features to the 30+ year old design and this particular pair goes a step further.  The first two are, of course, the slimmed down vulcanized sole and that new strip of ‘foxing’ sewn above it.  On this pair, we get an extra set of vertical stitches that ‘affix’ the hot red strip that contrasts the black nubuck upper.  Its perforations reveal a Swoosh of red dots that have us running to grab these from 95Soleman on eBay.

adidas Skateboarding Superstar Skate Mark Gonzales

adidas’ new Skateboarding division has given birth to some new dope colorways for the classic Superstar.  We’ve seen some energetic colorways for Superstars in the form of the Meth and Reds, but this Mark Gonzales version is a bit more on the subtle side.  A full black upper donned with red detailing in the stitching and trek sport laces.  Look at the heel tab and the insoles and see how these stand out from you’re typical black/red Superstar.  Found are simple illustrations that are a bit comparable to Keith Haring work.  A simple colorway, perfect to skate the crap out of.  Now available at Caliroots.

The Clash x Converse Chuck Taylor Spring 2010

While they may have ‘borrowed’ an idea for album art from the single most significant musical artist of the modern era in Elvis Presley, it was The Clash who were ‘the only band that matter[ed]‘.  The band’s sprawling 1979 triple-LP ‘London Calling’ is considered their finest work and the cover’s signature pink and green lettering is reproduced on the soles of these Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Highs.  In addition to this white leather pair, there’s one in black and another in olive green with button embellishments with a Combat Rock vibe.  The latest answer to your Joe Strummer-related needs, these should hit retail shelves next spring.  via HS

Nike Air Hoop Structure Dark Grey Silver Available

The Nike Air Hoop Structure has borrowed on some of the Swoosh’s all time classics and hit the ground running.  This latest pair goes with a colourway that isn’t ‘inspired’ by anything and might be best described as ‘serviceable’.  Though we’re pretty sure you wouldn’t want to test the translucent outsole for duribility outdoors in what is becoming colder weather, these have the look of a classic streetball shoe in black with hints of grey and white.  Cop yours today from 95Soleman on eBay.

Nike SB Dunk High Premium Bloody Gums Detailed Images

A few days ago, we brought you some new pics of the Bloody Gums edition of the Nike SB Dunk High Premium, but we still hadn’t seen detailed shots of the bottom of those soles. Now we finally get a clear understanding of exactly how these kicks got their nickname. In previous pics you could see that there was some kind of graphic image beneath the clear outsole, but here we finally get a clear image of those awful “Bloody Gums” that cover the bottom of both soles. Without the disturbing outsole, the shoe still sports a fresh look thanks to a combination of Varsity Red and Light Blue suede with some splashes of White thrown in, but its the gingivitis-infested imagery that give these kicks the kind of extra touch of flavor that only Nike SB can deliver. If you’ve been patiently waiting for these, check out a bunch of crisp images after the jump and if you still like what you see, get yours today from Caliroots.

House of Hoops Grand Opening @ Mall at Prince Georges Hyattsville, Maryland

Last weekend saw the opening of a new House of Hoops location in Houston, and now the popular store will be further expanding to another part of the country. This Sunday, the newest House of Hoops will open its doors inside of the existing Foot Locker at the Mall at Prince Georges. As with other store openings, in addition to offering some hot new releases like the Metallic Silver Air Penny 1/2 Cent, the gradient “4 Rings” Zoom Kobe IV and the Black/Club Purple/Chrome Air Bakin, there will also be an exclusive pair of “202″ Skyposites in a show of love for the region’s area code. If all that wasn’t enough, Washington Wizards star Caron Butler will also be stopping by the grand opening on Sunday from 2-4pm, so if you’re in the area, feel free to stop by, say hello and maybe even cop some fresh new kicks.
