History of Supreme Sneaker Collaborations

Supreme has launched a feature on their website that chronicles their entire sneaker history which runs from 1996 through 2009. Included in the feature are their numerous collaborations with Nike SB, Vans, Timberland, and more. Supreme gained a lot of notoriety for helping launch Nike SB amongst skateboarders across the world when they first launched the Nike SB x Supreme Dunk Low Pro’s in 2002, since then the New York based brand has gone onto collaborate with Nike SB on a number of other models including the Dunk High SB, Blazer SB, Delta Force 3/4 SB, Trainer TW 2, and most recently the Bruin. While their Nike SB collaborations have garnered the most attention, Supreme has also worked on a number of different projects with Vans over the years. Check out the entire Supreme Collaboration Sneaker History after the jump.

Nike SB Dunk Low Red Royal Blue White Sample

Yesterday, we gave you a nice look at a Nike SB Dunk Low that won’t be arriving until Spring 2010, and now we take a peek at another upcoming Dunk Low model that will releasing around the same time. This pair sports some interesting color blocking with Red suede and leather covering most of the upper. Accents come by way of some Blue mesh on the tongue and around the ankle and splashes of White on the toe box, tongue, heel tab and midsole. Like the Dark Chocolate/Metallic Silver pair seen yesterday, these will also be without padding in the tongue, but a nice color scheme and combination of materials should be more than enough for many SB fans. Keep reading to check out some more pics, and if you want to be the first on your block with a fresh pair of these, you can cop this size 9 sample now from JasonWhite9 on eBay.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) Black Gold New Images

Black and gold is one of those combinations that’s so simple yet successful that we’ll be seeing it forever.  The Cleveland Cavaliers might not have had this in mind when they reimagined their team colours for LeBron James’ rookie year in 2003, but the result is welcome.  As long as they don’t accompany a Cavs jersey in navy blue, the Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) looks dope in all black.  There’s just a touch of metallic gold at the top eyelets and the new integrated ‘KING’ and ‘JAMES’ lacelocks to give these that royal look.  Stick with Sneaker News for more as their release approaches.  via FC.T

RESN x Diamond Supply Co. Lester Diamond Gucci T Shirt

The stars have aligned for this latest collaboration project from Diamond Supply Co.  Sam Smyth of Girl Skateboards was the man responsible for designing the Tiffany and Gucci Nike SB Dunk models back in 2004, and while the Tiffany’s were released and became an instant classic, the Gucci became an urban legend with sample pairs fetching some serious scratch on eBay over the years. Now that the RESN (Smyth’s IBC Crew alias) edition of the Nike SB Dunk High Premium is scheduled for release, Smyth has teamed up with Diamond Supply Co. for a super-fresh t-shirt collaboration to be released alongside the Gucci Dunks. The shirt features an interesting shmear of relevant elements presented in a simple stylish way.

The shirt sports an illustration of James Woods’ Lester Diamond character from Martin Scorsese’s Casino. Besides that his last name is Diamond, Lester also applies to the collab because of the extra-dope Gucci jacket that he wears in the diner scene of the film before getting roughed up by Ace Rothstein’s goons. Under the illustration is one of Lester’s creepier lines from the movie, with a “RESN for Diamond Supply Co.” shout-out on the back of the shirt. Look for the t-shirt to drop around the same time as the RESN Dunks some time next month. Via CtotheJL.

Nike Blazer Pentium 1.0 by Gabriel Dishaw

We’ve recently been paying tribute to the connection between art and sneakers with our Air Jordan and Nike SB Dunk photography showcases and now we take a look at the newest work from Gabriel Dishaw. Last month, we gave you a look at one of the more creative sneaker art endeavors ever produced, Dunk Low and Terminator High sculptures that Gabriel created using metal scraps, nuts, bolts and computer parts among other things. The pics of Dishaw’s work were a big hit with our readers and now we get a pic at his new masterpiece, the Blazer Pentium 1.0. Once again, he has made use of circuit boards and other computer guts, as well as some copper wire and various other metal goodies. As you can see, there is some serious attention to detail here right down to the Nike branding on the tongue and heel. Keep reading after the jump for some more pics and stay tuned for more of Gabriel Dishaw’s amazing sneaker sculpture art in the future. Via NSB.

Nike Air Force 25 Mid Core SVSM Edition

The Nike Air Force 25 isn’t and probably never will be more popular than its older sibling.  Air Force 1s are the most common shoes in all of modern footwear, partly because there have been literally thousands of different colourways over these past twenty-some odd years.  The AF25 is sure to attract more attention with dope palettes like this one that shares its colours with LeBron James’ alma mater, St. Vincent St. Mary High School.  Cop the Akron, Ohio flavor today from Dunk.com.cn

Nike Terminator Low Basic White Black Gum

White, black and gum.  It’s one of those power trios we’ve been seeing as long as there have been sneakers and we’ll continue to see until we grow wings (maybe even longer).  A case in point for why this palette gets recycled is the latest Nike Terminator Low.  They’d simple, if somewhat bland with a mix of white and black leathers, but throw in a gum rubber outsole and metallic gold laces and these simply shine.  Grab yours today from Flauge.
