This pair of Nike Trainer 1s is so authentic, they even have the same goofy letter spacing that plagues alot of MLB uniforms to this day.  The kearning of button up jerseys has always suffered in the overlap, so this pair that features ‘NEW’ ‘YORK’ on the right and left tongues, respectively, looks just right in its off balance orientation.  The rest of this Yankees-inspired design is spot on as well, from the perfect mix of navy, white and reflective metallic silver hits to the contrast stitching and Flywire that both insinuate pinstripes.  We know Yankees fans are a passionate bunch so we’ll keep you posted on their release.

Nike is by far the largest footwear and athletic company in the world, but they still realize the value of their local distributor.  Their skateboarding division has opened a new microsite titled ‘Nike SB: Support Your Local’ that currently showcases Enfield, CT’s Skate Lair alongside Chicago’s Uprise.  Both have extensive photo capsules from Todd Jordan, who seeks to show “some of the faces that have been there . . . back when it was still considered derelict.”  Check out more photos after the jump, including plenty from the Nike SB Fall/Holiday ’09 apparel collection.

Eddie Cruz’ Lakers-inspired snakeskin Nike Air Force 1 Low showed up first, but it’s his Chicago-style hightop that made it to retailers first.  Taking a colourway famous from the midwest and transplanting it for another entry in the East vs. West Rivals Pack, this Nike Air Force 1 High Supreme.  The only things not covered in black snakeskin here are the patent leather strap and Swooshes plus a suede section on both side panels.  “Red on black, venom lack,” so it goes with milk snakes, but these should be poison to all your haters and are available today from RMK on eBay.

When a sample was placed beside the Nike Air Max 95 in mint, this latest Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid seemed to share that accent shade.  A couple of months later, one pair has hit the ‘bay and the photos (and box color code) let us know the intention was turquoise.  Rocking the same shade of Azure blue that shined brightly this summer on a prominent RT1, these have a blacked-out Tiffany look.  It’s something we’ve never seen on an ATC but it looks dope, so cop yours from verbdws on eBay.

We’ve recently seen the very recognizable Air Foamposite look make its way onto some totally unrelated models like the Blazer High and the Big Nike High. The Foamposite-inspired Blazer High sported the classic Royal Blue foam upper and the Big Nike went with the beloved Eggplant color scheme. Now we see another Blazer model that combines the best of both worlds. This version sports an Eggplant foam upper with Black accents including a shiny patent Swoosh. There is no word yet on when and where these will be dropping, but they are expected to be limited in quantity. Though they do seem to be buddies with Japan’s atmos and mita sneakers, Reebok doesn’t exactly have an answer for the Nike Tier Zero.  That will change at least temporarily as twenty of the worlds hottest boutiques lend their hand to designing a 20th Anniversary Pump.  France’s colette went with their signature grey and blue colour scheme, adding royal accents to the heathered grey jersey upper.  30 pairs will release November 20th only at their Paris flagship.  via LaMJC

With the Nike ACG Wild Peg Mid, we’re seeing a further exploration of this formerly low cut combination of ACG Air Wildwood and Air Pegasus.  Conceived as a trail runner, the Wild Peg is a little more boot-like in its midtop rendition.  A close look reveals an identical sole to the low version but the beefed up ankle makes you feel like these offer more support for irregular surfaces.  Grab yours today from RMK on eBay.

Back in August, we brought you some great images of the upcoming “Red Carpet” edition of the Air Max LeBron VII, and now we bring you a super in-depth look that lets you check out pretty much every part of the shoe down the smallest details like the subtle LJ7 branding on the lace tips and outsole. As you can see, this version of the LeBron VII takes a different approach from the Flywire upper seen on most of the other colorways seen so far, using a Black woven upper surrounded by additional sections of Black and White leather. Accents are provided by splashes of rich Baltic Blue and just a few subtle, yet effective hits of Hot Red. The color scheme comes together nicely to give the Red Carpet LeBron VII a very crisp look just as suited for stylin’ in the street as they are for ballin’.
