Nike Air Trainer SC Bo Jackson 34 Raiders Edition @ 21 Mercer

This past summer, with “Bo Knows” fever already in the air, we brought you a sneak preview of a Los Angeles Raiders colorway of the Air Trainer SC expected to hit stores this holiday season. As you already know, the OG White/Royal/Orange colorway of the Trainer SC recently dropped along with a variety of other Bo-themed shoes, and now Nike is hitting us with another version sure to stir up nostalgia in all those sneakerheads who actually remember Bo’s awe-inspiring playing days with the Raiders. The shoe sports a Black leather upper with Silver accents and most notably, the return of Bo’s number 34 on the back of the heel, a nice touch that was not included on the samples we showed you back in June. If you’ve been patiently waiting for these, they are finally here, dropping today at select Nike retailers like 21 Mercer.

Nike Sportswear New Arrivals @ 21 Mercer

With the Nike Blazer High, it’s clear that this old dog is thriving with an array of new tricks.  A double-layered version that shows its Swoosh as red peekaboos through the perforated black suede upper.  It’s just one in a foursome of new drops from Nike Sportswear that includes the Flytop lifestyle sneaker in a smooth caramel leather, a clean black and grey Pegasus 89 runner and one more Nike Air Max 90 for the South.  Cop any or all of these today at NSW retailers including their flagship store at 21 Mercer St. in SoHo, New York.

Hellz Bellz x Reebok Top Down Holiday 09

Reebok’s response to this year’s trend toward higher and higher cut sneakers was to take two steps forward and one step back.  Pictured above in its full and upright position, the Hellz Bellz x Reebok Top Down is a study in juxtaposition.  It contrasts black to white, that simple colourway to the crazy fold-down design and a screened Marilyn Monroe and James Dean print on the inside to foil the simple upper.  If you believe the insoles, this approach got Hellz and RBK “…Ten Steps Ahead of You!”  Then again, they probably want you to wear these, so be a walking contradiction and cop yours when they release later this year.  via HS

Johan Loh x Vans Mountain Edition Johan Edition

Vans got up with Leftfoot Taiwan’s Johan Loh for his take on their classic Sk8-Hi model and it’s clear people were feeling it.  So much so, in fact, that Loh is back with a very similar take on another Vans hightop.  The Vans Mountain Edition pictured above uses the same black, purple and white colour scheme, enhanced by the tonal appearance of black fabrics incluidng nubuck (and some embossing), patent leather and faux-croc.  Take a look at more photos after the jump and check back with Sneaker News for details on a China/Taiwan-only release that won’t exceed 200 pairs.  via OD

Nike Zoom Ashiko Quickstrikes Available

The Nike Zoom Ashiko from All Conditions Gear is one of the best original Nike boots in a long time.  It manages to combine the quintessentially-early-90s feel that came with early ACG projects with modern technology like the prominent Flywire strands that are not only on the side panels, but stretch to the heels and cover the toes as well.  With these two quickstrike pairs, we get a black base with neon accents, including the aforementioned Flywire elements.  One uses solely an electric blue hue while the other has a well timed quasi-DOTD look to it.  Cop the blue ones or the more colourful joints today from Wellgosh.

Nike Air Force 1 Low GS – Kobe Bryant – Varsity Maize White Varsity Purple

Late last month, we gave you a look at a new GS version of the Air Force 1 Low that was inspired by LeBron James, using his logos and team colors in the design. Now we turn our attention to another pair made for Nike Basketball’s other golden boy, Kobe Bryant. Like the LeBron edition, this is also a kids-only release which will no doubt enrage a good amount of Kobe and Laker fans that would love a crack at this super-fresh Lakers colorway. The shoe sports a crisp Maize/White/Purple color scheme complete with personalized Kobe touches like his logo, signature and number, making these a must-have for young Kobe fans. Check out some detailed pics after the jump and stay tuned for specific release info. Via Kenlu.

Ransom x adidas Originals The Never Ending Path

One of the most talked about collaborations this year has been this capsule collection of footwear put together by Canadian brand, Ransom, and adidas Originals that is “born and bred for the Northern outdoors”. Ransom worked with adidas Originals on creating five entirely new models that are a breath of fresh air for the sneaker industry that in the past few months has often lacked creativity and originality. Surprisingly enough the collaboration between the Canadian brand and adidas Originals features hardly any signs of the 3 stripes but is more focused on attention to detail, premium craftsmanship, and great aesthetics. You can read a full feature on the collaboration as well as an interview with Matthew Langille of Ransom. via Sneaker Freaker

Futura x Nike Air Force 1 High Supreme Matte Silver Team Orange February 2010

We’ve been keeping you up on the latest Futura x Nike Air Force 1 news, already previewing two Low and two High models designed by the renowned artist. Now a fifth Futura-designed Air Force 1 has popped up, this version sporting a new colorway that looks like a combination between the two Low models. This Air Force 1 High features a perforated suede Matte Silver upper with a White midsole and touches of splattered Team Orange and Dark Obsidian on the outsole. If you are feeling this latest addition to the Futura x Nike family, you can check out some more pics after the jump and keep an eye out for these in February. Via FootLockerUnlocked.

Air Jordan Spizike NOT Designed By Clark Kent!

Last night, we brought you the exciting news that DJ Clark Kent had designed a Spiz’ike for Jordan Brand, which might actually be the truth, but unfortunately, this is NOT it. Osneaker put these pics up on their site yesterday, reporting that the kicks were indeed designed by Clark, but it has since been confirmed that he actually had nothing to do with them. Now you have to go back and figure out if you love or hate them more, less or the same now that it’s been cleared up that Clark had nothing to do with the design. Let us know if this changes your opinion in any way, and for those who bashed the shoe yesterday, you owe DJCK an apology.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High Leroy Smith Edition Detailed Look

Everybody loves Leroy Smith. How could you not? However, whether or not people love his signature Air Jordan 1 model is yet to be seen. Like Leroy’s own tastes in fashion, these kicks may not appeal to everyone, but you have to admit, they do possess some of his trademark pizazz. We’ve already seen some teaser pics of the Leroy Air Jordan 1, but now, we finally get an up-close and personal look at the sneaker inspired by the man who “motivized” Michael Jordan. As you can see, the shoe sports a variety of colors and materials with the most eye-catching elements courtesy of an embossed Metallic Gold heel, Purple stripes on the midpanel and a bright Red toe box. As you can see, the Air Leroys also come with both Purple and Gold laces, so you can switch it up for some different looks. Keep reading after the jump for an in-depth look at the finer details of the shoe, and if you like what you see, you can pre-order now from CitySole and have the shoe in a few weeks.

Nike Zoom Skyposite Black Carbon Fiber

Ironically enough, the latest member of the Nike Posite family isn’t actually made of ‘Posite’ at all.  The Nike Zoom Skyposite pictured above must be lending its typically foamy exterior to the Blazer Highs, and instead goes with a woven nylon upper that strongly resembles both carbon fibre and a pair of Nike Zoom Kobe Dream Seasons.  The upper is totally sans foam, but the insole still adds LunarLite to the forefoot for lightweight cushioning.  Expect these at Nike Basketball retailers soon.  via NT

Nike Delta Force Low AC Black White Anthracite

We got a nice look at the High editions of the new Delta Force AC hybrid model a few weeks back, but now we bring news of a Low model that is already popping up in stores. Like the High version, this shoe takes the classic Delta Force aesthetic and transforms it into a sleek lifestyle model thanks to a blending of the original upper design with a vulcanized midsole. This Delta Force Low AC sports a simple Black leather/mesh upper with a White Swoosh and laces and a White midsole that sports a Black stripe down the middle. If you like the looks of this clean new style, you can pick up a pair now from ID4shoes on eBay.

Style: 370543-001
Color: Black/White-Anthracite
