You’ve probably already seen our previews of Todd Bratrud’s Brain Wreck edition of the Nike SB Dunk High, and now they have begun to hit select retailers as an October Quickstrike. With the release comes some of our best looks yet at the kicks, as well as the matching 5-panel hat and t-shirt. The Brain Wreck is easily one of the more creative Dunk SB concepts seen in a while, with perhaps the most endearing touch being the puffy brain-like stitching pattern that covers the shoe’s lining. Keep reading for some more looks at the Brain Wreck Dunk High and its matching accessories after the jump, and be advised that you can already scoop up the kicks and hat now at Premier.

Last week, we gave you a first look at the Air Jordan X-inspired High version of the Jordan Flight 45 and now we turn our attention to another upcoming colorway of the shoe. This version of the Flight 45 High takes a much simpler approach, using a Black on Black upper that looks to be constructed from a combination of suede and nubuck. The only accents come by a way of a White midsole and a White Jumpman that serves as the “i” in the Flight logo on the tongue. For those turned off by the writing on the heel of the last pair we showed you, thankfully, these offer a much more subtle look. These are expected to hit the States in the near future, but if you can’t wait, they are already available at Kinstor.

Lately we’ve seen a good amount of colorways of the new Jordan Hallowed Ground. Now, the first batch are beginning to hit stores and with that comes some more detailed looks at some of the October drops. This version of the Hallowed Ground sports a bold look thanks to a Black on Black nubuck upper starkly contrasted by Neon Yellow accents on the stitching, tongue branding and the speckled Air Command Force-esque midsole. A White outsole and Jumpman logo finish off the color scheme, helping to make this one of the more eye-catching Hallowed Ground colorways seen so far. If you’ve been waiting for these, they are arriving at select Jordan Brand retailers such as Kinstor this month.

Combining the Air Jordan 1 and IV (4) together would probably give you something pretty much exactly like this. You might have chosen the IV’s Air-equipped sole, but Jordan Brand stuck with the AJ1 silhouette and added touches of the IV for the new Air Jordan 1 Flight Mid. This pair was scheduled to drop all the way back in July, but got pushed back for various reasons. Wait no longer, Jordan Fans. These are available today from Schuh-You.

Not too long ago, new images surfaced of the forthcoming “Savage Beast” Air Force 1s that seem to be tailored to the quickly approaching date of Halloween, which is now only a couple weeks away. Now even crispier pictures have surfaced that should allow you to make better sense of the color scheme and materials that adorn this unique AF1.
Ginger-orange colored faux-fur dominate most of the sneaker (even throughout the mid-sole) while white canvas is used to make up the Swoosh and heel-tab. Ghoulish red embroidery composes the “Savage Beast” writing on the heel along with “Nike” on the lace-lock. Many of us have the tendency to center our outfits around our kicks, so is it safe to assume that – granted these make to to retailers by Halloween – a fair number of sneaker heads will be seen rocking a costume inspired by these savage AF1s? Big ups to Overdope for the extra detailed pics and video that you can peep right after the jump.

Much like the Terminator High, Nike’s crazy little Air Macropus ‘boot’ is totally prepared for winter. Warmed by a healthy dose of Native American blanket on the Winter Journey Pack Quickstrike, the Macropus looks even toastier in this fuzzy Matagi Pack rendition. They’re a mix of shades ranging from off-white to brown in a shaggy fur and heavily-cobbled canvas. Do your best abominable snowman impression and cop these today from atmos.

Jordan Brand is like that significant other that always gives you *almost* what you want and saves the really good stuff for your birthday. It’s actually the Air Jordan’s 25th birthday this year, so in honour of the silver anniversary, we expect alot of heat in early ’10, much of it in the form of Air Jordan VI (6) Retros. While the black and white pairs swapped the OG infrared hue for varsity red, this pair goes with an all new colourway. Adding white contrast stitching to an entirely black nubuck upper, this pair of AJ6 Retros is finished off nicely by the translucent outsole that seems to work on just about every VI. Take a look at all of this 1990-’91 goodness after the jump. Photo above via TSG

Nike Air Force 1 Low Bespokes carry a hefty pricetag, but Nike Sportswear allows you to combine the absolute highest quality materials and colours in ways that you’d never see on a retailer’s shelves. With this pair designed by Anthony Terry, they’re done in the Lakers colourway that has seen plenty of releases of late (especially Zoom Kobe IVs), but it’s the fabrics that kill it. Terry mixed smooth and nappier nubucks, both in grey, with a waxed canvas purple toebox. If that weren’t nifty enough, we see what might be the very first Safari-printed Swoosh. Take a look at more photos of Anthony’s LA-friendly kicks after the jump.

Huf reprised their 3 Feet High collaboration along with Kicks/HI and DQM for a trio of Vans Half Cabs earlier this year, but this time it’s one-on-one with Off the Wall. This threesome of Vans Old Skool lowtoops goes the simple route, adding a leather heel cup to an otherwise all-canvas tonal design. There’s one each in blue, black and red and each has a triangular pattern on the foxing band that looks a little like gator teeth. You needn’t worry, though; they don’t bite, and are available for $85.

The Nike Air Baked is sufficiently rare that upon seeing its name in print, your author had visions of Tim Hardaway’s old Air Bakin’s (sic). As it turns out, the Air Baked is a sort of lifestyle boot that pretty strongly resembles a fresh baked potatoe. Undoubtedly influnced by the Ugg-led pack of fuzzy boots over the past few years, this comfy looking ‘boot’ comes to us in a couple shades of brown with navy blue accents. Grab yours today from atmos.

Silas and Maria just created a black, grey and red Vans Sk8-Hi, but this pack is a little more Disruptive. Not to be confused with Supreme’s collaboration earlier this year, this Half Cab and Sk8-Hi are dubbed the ‘Samil Pack’. Both have black suede laid atop a staticky black and white textile. Both black and white laces look really nice and either would tie the sole in nicely. These will hit select Vans retailers soon. via MK

Def Jam Records is right around that age that allows for a big quarter-century celebration. The sort of thing that tends to bleed over into more than just one year, their collection of adidas sneakers combines some of their biggest stars past and present with some of Three Stripes’ best loved models. Here we see a black-toed Superstar with gold accents in honour of Ghostface, his Wu-Tang cohort Method Man’s Stan Smith also in the Wu’s black and yellow, along with Young Jeezy’s Forum midtop. Olive green Sambas and Nizzas both have orange and white accents, along with Def Jam embroidery. Two of the most significant brands in the past few decades have these available at select adidas retailers now. via HB
