One of the most talked about collaborations this year has been this capsule collection of footwear put together by Canadian brand, Ransom, and adidas Originals that is “born and bred for the Northern outdoors”. Ransom worked with adidas Originals on creating five entirely new models that are a breath of fresh air for the sneaker industry that in the past few months has often lacked creativity and originality. Surprisingly enough the collaboration between the Canadian brand and adidas Originals features hardly any signs of the 3 stripes but is more focused on attention to detail, premium craftsmanship, and great aesthetics. You can read a full feature on the collaboration as well as an interview with Matthew Langille of Ransom. via Sneaker Freaker

We’ve been keeping you up on the latest Futura x Nike Air Force 1 news, already previewing two Low and two High models designed by the renowned artist. Now a fifth Futura-designed Air Force 1 has popped up, this version sporting a new colorway that looks like a combination between the two Low models. This Air Force 1 High features a perforated suede Matte Silver upper with a White midsole and touches of splattered Team Orange and Dark Obsidian on the outsole. If you are feeling this latest addition to the Futura x Nike family, you can check out some more pics after the jump and keep an eye out for these in February. Via FootLockerUnlocked.

Last night, we brought you the exciting news that DJ Clark Kent had designed a Spiz’ike for Jordan Brand, which might actually be the truth, but unfortunately, this is NOT it. Osneaker put these pics up on their site yesterday, reporting that the kicks were indeed designed by Clark, but it has since been confirmed that he actually had nothing to do with them. Now you have to go back and figure out if you love or hate them more, less or the same now that it’s been cleared up that Clark had nothing to do with the design. Let us know if this changes your opinion in any way, and for those who bashed the shoe yesterday, you owe DJCK an apology.

Everybody loves Leroy Smith. How could you not? However, whether or not people love his signature Air Jordan 1 model is yet to be seen. Like Leroy’s own tastes in fashion, these kicks may not appeal to everyone, but you have to admit, they do possess some of his trademark pizazz. We’ve already seen some teaser pics of the Leroy Air Jordan 1, but now, we finally get an up-close and personal look at the sneaker inspired by the man who “motivized” Michael Jordan. As you can see, the shoe sports a variety of colors and materials with the most eye-catching elements courtesy of an embossed Metallic Gold heel, Purple stripes on the midpanel and a bright Red toe box. As you can see, the Air Leroys also come with both Purple and Gold laces, so you can switch it up for some different looks. Keep reading after the jump for an in-depth look at the finer details of the shoe, and if you like what you see, you can pre-order now from CitySole and have the shoe in a few weeks.

Ironically enough, the latest member of the Nike Posite family isn’t actually made of ‘Posite’ at all. The Nike Zoom Skyposite pictured above must be lending its typically foamy exterior to the Blazer Highs, and instead goes with a woven nylon upper that strongly resembles both carbon fibre and a pair of Nike Zoom Kobe Dream Seasons. The upper is totally sans foam, but the insole still adds LunarLite to the forefoot for lightweight cushioning. Expect these at Nike Basketball retailers soon. via NT

We got a nice look at the High editions of the new Delta Force AC hybrid model a few weeks back, but now we bring news of a Low model that is already popping up in stores. Like the High version, this shoe takes the classic Delta Force aesthetic and transforms it into a sleek lifestyle model thanks to a blending of the original upper design with a vulcanized midsole. This Delta Force Low AC sports a simple Black leather/mesh upper with a White Swoosh and laces and a White midsole that sports a Black stripe down the middle. If you like the looks of this clean new style, you can pick up a pair now from ID4shoes on eBay.

Kobe Bryant, Lamar Odom and a number of a-listers were on hand for the opening of Philippe Chow’s fifth namesake restaurant, this time in Los Angeles. Kobe rocked the black and pink Nike Air Yeezy while Lamar Odom surprisingly had on a pair of navy blue Supra TK Society. Pau Gasol showed up in black shoes, Serena Williams was in heels, Sofia Vergara also in heels, Khloe Kardashian apparently now Ms Odom in heels and finally Sasha Vujacic and Tyrese Gibson were also spotted but we didn’t make out their shoes.

Air Jordan Force Fusions have been the most controversial topic amongst sneakerheads over the past two years, hands down. Purists point out that most of the silhouettes have to be radically altered to match the Air Force 1 sole and classics should be left alone, while others simply like the way they look and that they’re obtainable. We expect further fractionation of the community on this one, a sneaker that for now we’ll refer to as Nike Air Jordan 1/XX3 (23) Fusion, for obvious reasons. They add the AJXX3‘s net embroidery to the AJ1‘s side panels and throw a translucent Swoosh on top for good measure. Expected next year, you can already pre-order these from Osneaker.

This latest Nike Dunk High had us wondering if we had slept on their release. There was another pair earlier this year in white and yellow that shared this new release’s motion card-textured side panels. Beaverton likes to drop stuff like this in packs, but instead it looks like they just realized how cool that stuff looks. You can’t go wrong matching it with hyper blue, though that shade is downright otherworldly, completely engulfing this pair. A touch of white on the tongue reminds you who made these, and don’t forget to cop them today from Essense.

Never before has a love of canvas been so serious. You might ask why we’re interpreting this so literally, especially when a pair of the new Addict Series of Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Highs looks quite a bit like Batman’s Joker costume. It’s because these are easily the finest Chucks ever produced: premium materials, interesting colourways, reinforced stitching on the forefoot, and Vibram outsoles make these quite a catch. Consider the joke on you if you miss copping these from R’izm. via HS
