Earlier this month we showed you a look at a new Black/Yellow colorway of one of the hottest retro silhouettes this season, the Nike Air Structure Triax ’91. Many believed these were a Livestrong release but as we found out earlier this month they are nothing more than a fresh colorway brought to us by Nike Sportswear. If you are interested in copping these and dont want to be bothered waiting for them to hit your local sneaker store you can pre-order them now at End.

Aside from the luxurious premium materials, one of the key benefits of Bespoke Nike Air Force 1s is the ability to arrange the colours any way you choose. We’ve seen a ton of both Elephant and Safari prints rolling out of the 21 Mercer St. flagship store, but this might be the craziest thing to leave Nike Sportswear yet. What we’re dealing with here is three distinct Safari prints: grey/grey, grey/yellow and grey/red. The yellow and red sections are buffered by the all grey part, all of which rides a neon yellow MX sole. Take a look at more shots after the jump, then head over to NSW and see if you can create something even crazier.

While a lot of collectors focus on the Air Jordan, Air Force 1 and Dunk aspects of the Nike catalog, the Air Max line is just as beloved by many sneakerheads. Although many of these styles have been around for the last two decades, Nike still finds new ways to keep the classics fresh. Sometimes it’s just new color schemes or materials, but lately many OG models have been updated with new technology like in the case of the Air Maxim 1 and Air Max 90 Current. Here we have a look at some Air Max models that Nike Sportswear will be dropping next spring, and as you can see, there is a nice mix of new and old, as well as some eye-catching new colorways.
We have already previewed some of these kicks, but now you can get a broader idea of what will be coming next year. There will be three new colorways of the classic Air Max 1, as well as the new Torch edition of the Air Maxim 1. Joining the AM1′s will be two new Air Max 90′s sporting a combination of materials on the uppers and finally, a crazy new version of the Air Max 90 Current that sports a Moire pattern and a bold color scheme. Keep reading for a closer look at the upcoming collection and be on the lookout for specific release info. Photos via UrbanIndustry.

As reported yesterday, the Bobbito Garcia edition of the Pro-Keds Royal Flash (Add-On) finally dropped today, and to kick off the release, Kool Bob Love himself embarked on a five store tour of sneaker shops that started in New Jersey and eventually worked its way across NYC. The first in-store destination was Packer Shoes at noon, where a nice Pro-Keds Royal Flash display and some matching t-shirts were ready and waiting, along with a packed house anticipating Bobbito’s arrival. As soon as he walked in, he got right down to mixing it up with the crowd in his typical gregarious manner. After greetings and salutations, Bob quickly set up shop behind the counter and began putting the Sharpie to work.
In addition to Pro-Keds shoe boxes, the man of the hour was more than happy to tag up anything put in front of him. Some other signable items of note included old magazines, vinyl records and of course, copies of his book, Where’d You Get Those. In addition to providing John Hancocks to anyone who wanted one, the friendly and outgoing renaissance man was also happy to pose for photos and chat it up with all the event-goers. By the time Bobbito had to leave for the next in-store, everything was all autographed up, with a good percentage of the crowd either carrying a Bobbito x Pro-Keds Royal Flash box or rocking a pair on the spot. The green pair was the hot item of the day, but there are still some sizes in all three colorways still available at PackerShoes.

Chris Paul is entering his fifth NBA season as point guard for the New Orleans Hornets and third with a signature Air Jordan. The Air Jordan CP3.III takes up where its angular predecessor left off, emphasizing the kind of comb geometry that one commonly associates with hornets, bees and the like. These patterns make up the entire outsole and can be seen distinctly influencing the flow of lines on the AJXX2-like upper, which alternately could be said to resemble the Air Jordan VI (6) with its angular indent at midfoot. 2009 has been probably the greatest year so far for reappropriating cultural milestones into sneaker design. From Jackie Robinson breaking baseball’s colour barrier to the 40th anniversary of the lunar landing, Nike has practically put on their Cortezes and run back through an extended cut of Forrest Gump. But it’s actually the Nike Sportswear Air Pegasus 89 that will be released in commemoration of two decades hence the fall of a wall that symbolized a shift both in Eastern/Central Europe and the world abroad. This black lowtop with insane purple contrast stitching and a concrete-textured Swoosh are an interesting tribute to one of the world’s great sneaker loving cities. Uniform Experiment has joined up with Nike to create a special edition of their “Special Force” boots, similar to the Nike SFB Lightweight boot we showed you earlier this year. Created in collaboration with SOPH.’s 10th Anniversary Collection these were made specifically for the American troops. These Special Force boots feature many performance-enhancing technologies, with premium uppers and a Nike Free sole. The color scheme is a very grim monotone black on black. There is also a briefcase made to match the Special Force boots, and was put together with the same design aesthetics in mind. Both products will launch on November 2nd at Istean Mens and Soph. retail locations. via Hypebeast

‘Plethora’ is one of those words that is literally used incorrectly more than in the intended way. With the Nike Zoom Kobe IV colourways, though, we really do have an overabundance. There have been nearly as many blocking patterns as games over the past year for the hardest working man in basketball and now the LA Lakers’ purple and gold has spilled over onto these Nike Air Force 1 Lows. Apparently there was only a little of each hue to go around, since these are limited to a GS-sized run, but the Kobe signature-laden small sneakers are available now from ID4Shoes on eBay.
