The Nike Air Flytop is yet another new retro, bringing flavor from the past and presenting it with a new kick (couldn’t help the pun). Anything with velcro straps used to be synonymous with strictly athletic grit, and yet we’ve seen so many featured on high-end lifestyle sneakers. The key? The design of the overall look. Take these for example. Both very clean simple colorways, applied with premium leather uppers. The use of leather for the inside lining adds to that lux look and feel. Many may associate first-class with expendability, and carelessness for waste. But contrary to how these designs convey superiority, Nike is able to create these as a Considered design, making them quite eco-friendly. Then again, going green is more of a concern lately for the yuppies as well. Cop both the white and black pair at Caliroots.

If the colourway for this latest Nike Blazer Mid seems familiar, you might have last year’s Urban Night Pack in mind. Those three sneakers were all from Nike ACG and laid neon accents atop black bases to great effect. This ND release (notice the slimmed down sole and fabric ‘foxing’ strip) is done in a rough suede with bright pink and blue hits dropping in on the UV party. Cop yours today from 95Soleman on eBay.

Mike Shinoda and DC Shoes have had a productive ongoing collaboration for a couple of years now. From kicks that benefitted his alma mater to all the other Shinoda Remix joints, we’ve gotten to see what the musician has to offer in terms of sneaker design. With this DC Xander, the Linkin Park co-frontman chose a mix of leathers and nylon, all in black, to serve as the base for some white and blue contrast hits. You can find MS and SURU detailing all over the shoe and its 500 pairs will release exclusively at the LA-based retailer between November 20th and December 20th of this year. Here is another look at a Nike SB Dunk Mid Premium we showed you back in May, in a dark chocolate colorway. This Nike Dunk Mid features a chocolate brown suede upper with brown nubuck panels and a black midsole. The most unique features about these Dunk mids are the laces that resemble those on a pair of Timberlands and the speckled outsole. These Nike SB Dunk Mid Premiums are available now through Caliroots

Although there may still be some Zoom Kobe IV colorways popping up, very soon all eyes will be on the fifth installment of Kobe Bryant’s signature Nike line. We have already shown you a few sneak peeks at the Zoom Kobe V, including one preview that displayed numerous upcoming colorways. Aside from the expected Lakers-inspired colorways and some simple team looks, there was one particular version that stuck out above the rest. With all of the Zoom Kobe IV colorways that dropped, one of the most memorable was definitely the Chaos edition. Now, it looks like the concept is back, this time opting for an even bolder color combination. In addition to some White synthetic snakeskin, the upper also sports some sections of iridescent Purple reptile scales with some Neon Green accents on the Swoosh, outsole and tongue logo. There is no word yet on a release for these, but keep reading to check out a bunch more pics in the meantime. Via fatboykicks.

Ever go on Nike ID and try to emulate one of your favorite pairs? Nike drops these Classic BW’s that pretty much looks like a remix of an existing White/Persian Violet BW’s, or maybe even an “Un” version of the Black/Persian Violets. It makes sense, being that all three pairs have the same colors, just in different layouts. This particular pairs look almost exactly like the White/Persian Violets that dropped in August, expect that the black on the mudguard now takes place on the underlay. Other than that, the purple is found on the same parts- the tongue, the upper heel tab and the foxing around the air bubble. Not to mention that the other difference is that the other ones only came in women’s sizes. If you saw the other ones drop and wished they came in your size, now’s your chance. Available now at Caliroots.

It seems like so far, there have been more Quickstrike releases of the Nike Air Zoom Toki lifestyle sneaker than those made available to the general public. This new pair has the look of quality that could withstand a large crowd but will make its smooth lightly oiled caramel brown suede design only available to the quick and the hungry. These add white and brown piping to the design for an interesting exercise in colour depth and contrast. Stick with Sneaker News and we’ll be sure to update you as the release approaches. via Dunk.com.cn

New rule: all new Nike Air Structure Triax 91 retros must remind you of drinking Sprite. Ok, that’s a gross oversimplification of what we have in store for 2010, but this new pair certainly reminds us of another that should drop around the same time. We get a white base of various fabrics along with blue, green and black accent hits. Last week, we gave you a preview of an interesting new addition to the Jordan Brand apparel arsenal. As part of the Air Jordan Retro Collection, JB will be releasing a set of Noctilucence (glow in the dark) Socks that feature elements from some classics in the legendary Air Jordan catalog. You may have already seen some of the different versions in our preview last week, but now we get a look at some more that are lined up such as some less talked about Jordans like the XVII, XVIII and XXI. It also appears that there will be another variation of the socks that has been created based on the Air Jordan V featuring the “shark tooth” design on the toe and a different collector’s box. Keep reading after the jump to check out a detailed look at the upcoming collection. Via FC.T.

Back in July, we gave you a look at an intriguing new collaboration between Nike and Amsterdam sneaker heavyweights, Patta, with the Air Max 1 as the weapon of choice. Now, we get a sneak peek at another Air Max 1 colorway whipped up by the Patta/Nike team. This version sticks close to the OG Air Max 1 color blocking, but throws in some Lime Green as the main accent color. The rest of the shoe sports sections of Grey suede and White mesh, giving it a nice classic look with a new twist. Aside from just the color scheme, Patta has put their signature on these by way of a special block-lettered tongue label. Keep reading to get a closer look at these and to compare them with the other upcoming Patta Air Max 1. Both are expected to drop some time this Holiday season, so be sure to stay tuned for more pics and info on the collaboration.
