Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke Mayor

Here we have yet another Exclusive Air Force 1 Low Bespoke created by everyone’s favorite Air Force 1 aficionado “Mayor”. These Air Force 1 Lows immediately catch your eye, but that’s nothing new. The previous 17 pairs created by Mayor, all sport loud and innovative color ways using rare and uncommon textiles and materials. These particular Air Force 1 Lows have an all metallic gold leather upper, with burgundy accents for the swoosh, laces and liner. Although the most notable characteristics of these AF1’s are a Nubuck sock liner and the Gum midsole very similar to the midsole on the saught after air force 1 wheat (2001). There is also a New Era fitted cap from Boston based retailer CONCEPTS that matches perfectly. Via StrictlyFitteds

Nike N7 Collection Huarache 09 + Pegasus 26

While Native American design inspirations have become a hot trend of late, Nike is taking it a step further and using a classic design to benefit the Native population.  With a limited release starting last Thursday only at the Beverly Center House of Hoops and online on November 7th, the new Nike N7 Collection will use environmentally frendly Considered designs like the N7 Huarache with the intention “to promote active and healthy lifestyles, as well as the collection’s focus on sustainable innovation.”

Along with the natural inclusion of the Huarache, the Air Pegasus 26 runner will be released in black for men and white for women.  Profits from the collection will go directly to the N7 Fund that supports positive social change for the next seven generations of the Native American community.  Stick with Sneaker News for more news on these and all Nike N7 sneakers.

Air Jordan VI (6) Retro White Black March 2010

As you probably already know, 2010 will be a big year for the Air Jordan VI thanks to numerous colorways scheduled for release. We have already previewed some sure-fire heat like the Black/Red and White/Red OG versions (minus the Infrared), as well as some new looks like the “Pistons” version and of course, the Doernbecher edition. Back in June, Osneaker gave us a great sneak peek at this upcoming Air Jordan VI colorway, and now we get another look that lets us see some more angles and details. As you can see, this AJ VI sports a combination of White leather and Black suede on the upper, with an added stylish touch provided by some White speckles on the midsole, heel tab and lace locks, and a clear outsole as the clincher. Obviously, the OG Retro colorways will get much of the attention come next year, but this offering has a good shot to be warmly embraced thanks to the clean color scheme and the resemblance to the highly sought-after Motorsports edition of the Air Jordan VI. Keep reading to check out some more pics and a nice video preview of the shoe courtesy of sneakgeekz.

Air Jordan Break To Build Commercial

If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to be a Jordan Brand athlete, the new “Break to Build” commercial will give you an inside look. It’s well documented that on top of his natural talent and athleticism, Michael Jordan was also one of the hardest working athletes you will ever see when it came to his training and practice habits. This new commercial spot shows the Jordan Brand roster putting their work in, with names like Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Derek Jeter and others demonstrating why they deserve to represent MJ and the iconic Jumpman logo. Keep reading after the jump for a look at the new “Break to Build” commercial in its entirety. Via CounterKicks.

Reebok Pump Original Design Process Retrospective

When photos surfaced last week of the 20th Anniversary of Reebok’s iconic Pump basketball sneaker, many saw the heel release as a new feature.  While old sneakerheads may have realized it was like that back in ’89, even fewer know how RBK designer Paul Litchfield, whose credits also include Hexalite and ERS cushioning systems, came to the ultimate design.  Take a look at some really interesting photos after the jump, including several wacky prototypes like the one pictured above and a few good looks at exactly how Pumps provide extra support with their internal air bladder.  via SF

Kicks Lab Tokyo Event Recap

Though the Nike Dunk and Air Force 1 customs created by SBTG for the fourth installment of KICKS LAB were dope, there was plenty beyond those to enjoy.  SBTG, known to the Singapore government as Mark Ong (above, left), had both the Blue Devil and Sable kicks on display and sale at the show in Tokyo’s Shibuya district, but some photos show the renowned customizer may have gone one step too far and customized his own currency.  It was probably just for fun though, as other photos you’ll see after the jump detail the dope event, including an appearance from NITRO MICROPHONE UNDERGROUND.

Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke by Tony Baker

With Nike Air Force 1 Bespokes, sometimes we wonder, ‘How’d he come up with that?’  This latest pair makes us wonder how Nike Sportswear even has this option available, given that we can’t see anyone else wanting an $820 pair of zebra striped AF1s covered in horse hair.  That’s not because Tony Baker’s latest wouldn’t turn heads, though, as these stunners set atop translucent MX midsoles are among the top candidates for shoes sure to cause traffic problems.  Take a look at more photos after the jump, then head over to 21 Mercer St. for an appointment and let out your wild side.
