We just showed you a look at the Bo Knows edition of the Trainer 1, but Bo Jackson wasn’t the only Nike athlete who was well-known for rocking some fresh Air Trainers. Joining the Bo Knows Trainer 1 Mid will be the Mac Knows edition, a tribute to retired tennis great John McEnroe. These kicks take a similar color scheme approach of the Trainer 1 model that debuted back in May, but this pair goes even further in its homage to the OG Chlorophyll Air Trainer 1. Aside from the Grey/Black/White/Chlorophyll palette, this version of the Trainer 1 adds some extra McEnroe touches like his iconic silhouette graphic on the heel and a “Mac Knows” label inside of the tongue. As a final touch, the insoles feature a tennis ball graphic with a traditional neon green ball with white seams. Fans of Johnny Mac or the Nike Trainer line can expect these to pop up at select retailers during the month of November. Via FootLockerUnlocked.
