Do you count yourself among the sneakerheads seeking hidden gems each week or so at the local Nike outlet? You’ll occasionally find rare B-grades or a misplaced hit, but for the most part it’s a pair of $9.99 vintage runners here and a rainbow of tees for the same price there. These kicks pictured above feature a wide array of colours for sure, but they definitely belong in the ‘WTF heat’ category.
Sneaker News reader Josh Vanta found this insane Nike SB Dunk Low at his local Swoosh liquidator and was kind enough to let us marvel at the mystery right along with him. With a definite ‘Raygun’ look about them, these never-before-seen SBs add some purple hits to the nubuck-on-leather upper. While the colourway is intriguing, we’re even more fascinated by how photos of these never leaked, how far along the sampling process they were nixed, and how they made it out to one Nike Factory Store instead of the ‘bay. id wear them if i worked at mcdonalds! this color way is hideous which makes sense why the samples got tossed out. someone would have to give these to me, cause i cant justify paying for them.

haha … yes, I agree with #1 … white laces, or navy -purple … but they are nice

It’s probably not a daily occurrence, but not uncommon to see sample pairs on the back wall of a Nike Factory Store.

The shoe is a nice shoe its just that there needs to be some changes a little bit to make the shoe more attractive. Like you could change the side pannel to purple and the stiching along the midsole instead of being black maybe purple as well as purple stiching withing the swoosh the shoe would be more better. But I like this shoe. Maybe a pattened leather swoosh

ppl dont like these but are willing to go out of their way and buy $100+ jordan’s. c’mon ppl i mean let’s be honest the crap jordan has been putting out in the past few years have been about quantity and not quality and have pretty much ruined the jordan brand. at least these are limited and were bought at a low price even if you don’t like them. but rising sun’s in all white? since when did jordan ever wear these on the court anyways?
