Ever worn a striped shirt that gave you a headache? Luckily, this insane pair of adidas Top Ten His is a little further from your eyes than a shirt. The ’60 Years of Soles and Stripes’ colourway celebrates their key design element, a logo so sneaky that they can pass it off as just ‘stripes’ when it comes time for the whites at Wimbledon. These 80′s basketball kicks are anything but subtle, challenging you to avoid a seizure as you consider the three different patterns that cover this entire shoe, even the mid- and insoles. Get a tongue depressor ready and click to grab these from SchuhYou.

It’s almost certain that no matter how much time has elapsed or what direction the brand takes in the future, Nike will probably never let go of donning a few pairs every now and then with the Hoyas look. After all, it’s one of those things that helped Nike get where they are now. With the Dynasty Hi getting good feedback since its return, it’s no surprise that the slick profile gets the Georgetown treatment.
Obviously taking on the dark navy and grey look, the team scheme is updated with the current pattern found on the Hoyas jerseys, with further team identity found on the tongue. Athough the aesthetics are derived from athletic inspiration, the feel of these is definitely more formal and sophisticated. Another House of Hoops exclusive, these will be available on the 19th also at LTD Online.

Converse’s new skateboarding line, CONS, makes its first collaboration with skate magazine, Thrasher. To coincide with the release of Thrasher’s new video, ‘Prevent This Tragedy’ which is to be included in their January issue, CONS has created a pack of new CTS Ox and Mids. All the shoes feature plain black canvas uppers, complimented with colored fixing stripe. One pair features a gum midsole, while the Mid features a ‘Prevent This Tragedy’ graphic. Custom graphics made by Ethan Fowler were created for the insoles. Released yesterday, these are now available at select retailers. via Hypebeast.

The days are winding down til the 20 illustrious shops release their collaborative Reebok Pump20. We’ve seen quite a few now, all taking on such different forms. After seeing what Patta can do with a few AM1′s, we see how they proves the theory that even when given the same shoe, a completely unique look can arise.
Made of full grain leather and nubuck, the upper displays a light tan appearance with lava orange accents, possibly rendered with old basketball court floors in mind. This thought can only ferment even more with the sight of gum on the sole, a pivotal element of basketball culture. Or maybe these thoughts are summoned by immargery of a custom Reebok Pump20 basketball accompanying the previewed pair. It’s up to you to decide. Via Patta.

What does the Superbowl, video games and Nike’s new Trainer 1′s have in common. They have all been now graced with the presence of two football giants. Last season’s Superbowl was one for the records as Larry Fitzgerald and the Cardinals took on Troy Polamalu and the Steelers. Subsequently, the two juggernauts were featured on the latest edition of Madden NFL 10.
As if these two scenarios were prestigious enough to their careers, Nike is now privileging these two gifted athletes with their own Nike Trainer 1 PE’s. The shoes pretty much speak for themselves. Technological progressive footwear sporting the team colors of each respective player. Both the Fitz and Polamalu PE’s already available on the NikeStore, these two are just some more great athletic inspirations to add to the roster of this new trainer.

Earlier this month we gave you a glimpse at the Nike Air Max Rise in the black/white-varsity royal color way. Here is a look at the black/white-varsity red and white/black-varsity red versions. Brandon Roy of the Portland Trail Blazers has been wearing these for home and away games, repping the team’s “Young Guns” nickname thanks to the heel logo. As opposed to the suede upper of previous versions we’ve seen, these Air Max Rise’s feature leather uppers, with a patent leather ankle strap and multi-colored red and black laces. The swoosh can be found on the side panel as well as a black and red carbon fiber heel, visible air unit and red gradient strip running along the midsole. Look for both pairs to hit select retailers such as FootLocker this month.

If you have been keeping up, we have been bringing you plenty of great collaborations with Reebok for their 20th anniversary of the Reebok Pump. The latest installment is a collabo with KICKS HAWAII. These Pumps get their inspiration from a traditional Hawaiian saying “Mai Hula ‘Oe I Kokua O Ke Kai” which translates to “never turn your back on the ocean.” They have taken this saying and turned it into a great design for the Reebok Pump. These Pumps feature a blue and white tonal upper consisting of leather and patent leather. Some more unique design elements included are the blue gradient laces that are a nod to the ocean theme, and the speckled midsole that sits atop a gum outsole. KICKS HAWAII flagship store will be holding a release party for these Reebok Pumps on Friday November 20th. 31 pairs in total will be sold with 10 pairs going on their online shop. Via Freshness

There have been some pretty fresh looking pairs of Player Edition sneakers popping up here and there. With the surfacing of the Jared Jeffries AJ 5 – Away’s, we now look at the Home versions. Taking on a white upper, the orange accents on these samples don’t really do the Knicks’ team colors justice. Looking more of a red than Orange Flash, it only forces us to think about the Fusion 5′s that comes in a seemingly similar colorway. Nonetheless, its a rare find. Take a look after the jump at what rate of this particular pair is going for. via Shoesholic

With that ‘MUSKA 002′ on the tongue, is Supra trying to tell us that Chad is as smooth as James Bond, or that they intend to extend the Skytop line into the triple digits?! We’d have to lean toward the former of those two, though the new Supra Skytop II in metallic gold patent leather is flashier than anything the MGM franchise character ever wore. They have a lightly pearlized finish that keeps the upper from blinding you, while black and white accents are pretty much the only thing stopping you from floating straight into the sun. Cop this small sample pair in US men’s size 6, well in advance of their retail release from d_is_rolling on eBay.

With a huge victory for Manny Pacquiao, obtaining an unprecedented 7-span weight reign, it would be smart for Nike to continue to push for their new Trainer 1, such as this selection with a mid-cut. The pair mixes an array of material choices- leather, nubuck and patent – for a very classic look. The black with gold and white is just as classic, also appropriately timed, abstractly representing Pacman’s victory over adversity. Available now from ID4shoes on eBay.
