To many ‘heads satisfaction, the Air Trainer SC Hi finally became a retro for all to enjoy, reviving the aura of earlier sneaker culture. We have seen a low-cut Flywire version donning a similar colorway surfaced a few days ago. But luckily for the purist of trainer fans, Nike pushed for an original version to be made in this white/grey/red colorway, as we saw in sample form not too long ago as well. Available now at LTD-Online.

Tomorrow is World AIDS Day and Nike is stepping up to do their part, recently announcing that they will be joining the (RED) project to help fight AIDS in Africa. Yesterday, U2 frontman/global crusader, Bono joined some of the world’s best soccer players to announce the noble endeavor. The first step for the Nike (RED) partnership will be the sale of red (RED) laces, with 100% of the proceeds from each set sold being donated to programs that help fight the deadly disease in Africa. Not only does Nike hope to help financially with the “Lace Up. Save Lives” project, but by using the world football/soccer forum, the brand hopes that the popularity of the sport will help bring awareness for this worthy cause to fans all over the world. Get involved yourself by picking up a pair of the Nike (RED) laces at NikeStore and other select retailers beginning tomorrow, December 1st, and keep an eye out for more Nike (RED) products coming in the near future. Since the unfortunately death of DJ AM, many have wondered if the Nike Dunk he designed will ever release. DJ Premier recently mentioned on his show that the DJ AM Dunk was still on schedule and earlier today Kasina confirmed this by surprisingly releasing them. This collaboration Dunk features DJ AM’s logo on the tongue, black patent leather wrapping much of the shoe, red premium leather for the toebox, side panels and the upper heel while a light grey swoosh and a white midsole round out the shoe. A unique feature are the three rows of perforations along the heel with 3M underneath, similar to the dots of a Technics Turntable for RPM reading. We are sure an announcement regarding the availability will be made soon so stay with Sneaker News for the update. Don’t forget to check out the DJ AM Memorial Fund eBay Auctions which is still going on.

We just got a detailed look at the piped and Arabic kiffiyeh-printed Air Force 1 Low Supreme created by Undefeated and LIVESTRONG. It looks like there’s been a little change since we saw them on Black Friday, so let’s examine the key difference. Whereas the midsole stenciling was previously all white, now the words alternate between white and yellow, making the individual words in ‘ONYOURBIKEKID’ immediately apparent. The Eddie Cruz designed AF1s will hit select Nike Sportswear retailers on Friday, December 4th.
