The latest Nike Air Force 1 High for women has a subtly feminine edge. At first glance, you’ll notice a buttery smooth black leather upper riding a gum rubber outsole. This classic can’t-go-wrong colour combination is replicated on the straps and heel tab, where a flowery black lace is laid atop a tonal brown herringbone fabric. A solid choice for the cold months that you can rock with pretty much anything not-navy blue, grab a pair from ID4shoes on eBay.

Todd Bratrud’s ‘Brain Wreck’ Dunk High Premium was so stellar that we nearly forgot about the other part of Nike SB’s collaboration with Skate Mental. The Skate Mental x Nike SB Dunk High Premium features the same ‘NIKE SM’ tongue tag that appeared on the Brain Wreck variant sample. That little something extra enhances the relatively tame brown/white/blue colourway, a palette you’ll find duplicated on the matching dual-branded coat and backpack. Get all your Nike SB x Skate Mental kicks and gear from Caliroots.

Things have been a little quiet on the Air Force 1 front compared to recent years, but Nike is coming back strong with some interesting new looks for the ladies this holiday season. This Air Force 1 Low Premium features a blend of nice materials on the upper, using Metallic Zinc leather on some sections with a herringbone patterned fabric covered by a floral design on the toe box and heel. A White midsole and laces and a gum outsole add the finishing touches to this sophisticated new women’s look. Ladies, if you like what you see, you can get your pair now from ID4shoes on eBay.

Many other footwear brands have been moving forward with styles and looks, hoping to reflect their acknowledgement of ever-changing trends. For Converse, it may be a little more difficult to do so, being limited to the contours of its existing styles. Not to mention even the slightest change to the silhouettes of certain shoes can take away from years of identity and branding that Converse has build for decades.
Along with the Chuck Taylor Strap Hi, the brand is trying to be a little more progressive by adding a padded collar to their popular Chuck Taylor profile. Coming in an array of material combinations, the colors are rightfully set for the winter season. And for those who require something more equipped for the season, there is a winter boot version, which has a more rugged sole and probably more water-resistant leather. As of now, these have already dropped in Europe, but no word as to stateside drops.

Christmas for Lebron James is a pretty special time, during his early child hood his mother brought him a mini basketball set which was one his earliest memories of his mothers love. His birthday is also just five days later on December 30th. For those who follow LeBron will know of the photo of LeBron shooting at his mini hoop on Christmas day. Last Christmas, Nike made a Zoom LeBron VI in kids sizes inspired by that Christmas day photo. This year, Nike will be releasing a special Air Max Lebron 7 also inspired by that special photo but in adult sizes. We are not sure what kind of release these will be but look for these this coming Christmas at Nike Basketball retailers. They are also available early at Marqueesole.

One of the more underappreciated Air Max styles from the 90′s is poised to make a U.S. comeback in Spring 2010, but before it hits the States, it looks like a few new colorways will be popping up overseas. The Nike Air Triax ’94 has recently dropped at select European retailers with a fresh new look to help draw some overdue attention to the return of the model. This version sports a combination of Black leather and mesh on the upper with sections of Light Grey, a White midsole and splashes of bright Blue on the Swoosh, laces and branding, as well as inside the Air bag. It looks unlikely that this pair will hit the U.S., but the Air Triax ’94 will be showing up in other colorways this spring.

Earlier today, we scooped you on the Jumpman23.com website redesign. One of the most improved areas of the site is the presentation of footwear and apparel. It’s both easier to buy what’s already available and also to get a look at what to expect in the near future. And it looks like Jordan Brand has crafted their best apparel collection thusfar, one that is pretty much entirely centered around sneakerhead culture. From the Gatorade takeoff with an elephant-printed lightning bolt to the numous kicks-emblazoned tees, this collection has something for everyone. Take a look at the whole spread after the jump.

We mentioned this in our description of that pair of Air Classic BWs earlier today: European exclusivity is something that both benefits and plagues the Nike Air Max Light. On one hand, their availability makes a pair like this perfectly balanced mix of black/grey/blue very hard to get. Then again, resourceful sneakerheads realize that a release limited to ‘international’ customers makes them more valuable to collect and even more impressive in the streets. They’re available now at select European NSW retailers for those who love to hear, “Where’d you get those?”

Nike Sportswear’s latest flagship store in the Harajuku district of Tokyo just got shipments of two of the dopest ladies sneakers we’ve seen in a while. First up is the Nike Luna Racer+ AP designed by Hasegawa Rie. It goes with a mixed berry palette of purple and pink with a yellow sockliner that makes sense of that hue appearing on the multicoloured laces. As for Lunar Glide+ AP by Misako Yasuda, it’s pink and white, with stars all over. Take a look at more shots after the jump and head over to Nike Harajuku if your Black Friday took you abroad for the best deals.

With the Nike Air Max Skyline, you have a running sneaker that Beaverton designed last year to look like it came from their late 80s/early 90s golden age. These two pairs take the design to its obvious extremes: one has a fully ‘retro’ look, while the other features a modern palette. For the former, it’s that mix of aqua and purple that sets your memory banks to ’93, while the latter relies on the black/grey/white complex for balance while bright blue hits come in for contrast. Both of these just hit Nike Sportswear retailers in the Old World.

Yours truly is planning a Black Friday run though the Bay Area boutiques. If you happen to be at HUF with me, be sure to check out these new releases from adidas Skateboarding. There are two new adidas Campus Vulc models on tap, and the multicoloured Tim O’Connor Mid is probably the pick of the litter. Then again, the lowtop and the Mark Gonzales signature Superstar Skate are both looking quite smooth in black nubuck with leather accents and red contrast stitching. The Superstar is only available at 812 Sutter, with the other two dropping at both locations.
