Among the best-received colourways in the Nike Zoom LeBron VII (7) series is soon-to-be-re-released ‘Red Carpet’ NFW edition. You know that these go with a woven side panel instead of the other AML7s’ Flywire-equipped pattern, but the model pictured above is even more stripped-down. That’s ‘cos it’s a Z-Corp 3D resin model, which is a computerized sample that helps designers work on their colourblocking decisions. Apparently, LeBron James wanted a brand-new ALM7 for the More Than a Game premier, and this is how Jason Petrie mocked it up. via SC

Kobe Bryant ‘jumped’ over a pool filled with snakes to show the cast of Jackass just how amazing the then-new Nike Hyperdunk can be. The Hyperdunk certainly benefited from this and the Aston Martin ‘jump’, but it’s also just a solid basketball shoe. Whether you plan to wear yours while risking your life, or maybe just on the court, you’ll be delighted to see this new Nike Hyperdunk Low celebrating the ‘Snake Pool’. It comes in a yellow and purple mix that is quite similar to the gradient Zoom Kobe IVs, but this one’s a little simpler in its colourblocking. They won’t hit retailers for a while, but you can grab a pair in US mens size 8.5 from Marquee Sole.

While sneakerhead culture, and streetwear in general have grown up in recent years, most still can’t match the gaudy price and exclusivity in buying Christian Louboutin sneakers. Naturally, things like the DJ AM Memorial Fund Auctions buck this general statement, but even most of those can’t hold a candle to this pair’s $1200 MSRP. Whether they’ll appreciate in value like DJ AM’s kicks remains to be seen, but we’d definitely take caution to avoid having these studded kicks depreciate your pants-wardrobe. Pairs in white or black will drop next Spring at select Louboutin retailers. via HS//BagaholicBoy

Supreme’s place at the head of the sneaker collaboration table is something they’ve earned by repeatedly issuing insanely high-quality teamwork. More of these A+ efforts have come with a Vans logo than any other, so we’re glad to see them teaming up once again. The Supreme x Vans 106 collection adds a cross-branded effort for the first time in this Authentic-like lowtop’s short history. There are four different colourways here, two in solid black or orange, with the other two going for a pastel ‘camouflage’ look (think a less-loud Bape). Expect these online and in-store at Supreme on Black Friday, November 27th. via HB

We saw Nike create a series of reptile skin and/or metallic Air Max 90s earlier this year. Given that we’re approaching this iconic sneaker’s twentieth birthday, it would be natural to assume a sort of celebration. For some reason, though, none of these have released to retail markets, even in so much as a quickstrike (this particular pair features a ‘Nike International’-branded midsole, so we’ll keep you posted on a wider release). They’re similar to the other metallic gold joints revealed in July, but these eschew the flaking in favor of a smoother finish. As with alot the aforementioned sneak-releases, these are available at Osneaker.

Nike Sportswear dropped a couple of new colourways of the often-HF’d Match Classic this weekend. Though there’s no sign of Hiroshi Fujiwara’s design touches, it’s only natural to associate them with the Japanese visionary. Gone are his typical branding hits on the midsole, revealing a pure white vulcanized rubber bottom that looks excellent next to a nappy suede, thanks in part to light vintage discolouring. A black pair with red accents plus a pair in red/yellow can be yours from NSW retailers, including their 21 Mercer St. flagship.

Thank goodness for the internet. Its impact on our lives has been immense over these past fifteen years, but right now we can’t help but focus all of our gratitude on this ‘Asia Exclusive’. The Nike Zoom LeBron Ambassador II (2) returns in a black/gold/red/white mix that sorta matches some of the Cavs’ alternate jerseys. While the mostly black full-grain leather upper might clash with Cleveland unis featuring alot of navy blue, we suspect these would be just perfect for outdoor ballin’, hence the ‘ORAP’ designation (Outdoor Rubber Asia-Pacific). Cop yours from Kixpress on eBay.

Jordan Brand unveiled its spring 2010 Air Jordan Flight 45 High collection last weekend, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Once a misfit quasi-hybrid model, the strapped shoe grew up (literally) and looks to be ready for the big time thanks to some amazing new colourways. One of these that sparked a ton of intrigue are the cool grey and white joints pictured above. We get a better sense of the design now, realizing that some of the apparent gradient is actually created by a highly reflective ballistic nylon. These look perfect with icey translucent outsoles, so enjoy the photos after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Jordan Brand 2010 releases. via HC

We’ve come to expect the absolute best quality from the Converse Product(RED) collaboration and this pair is a prime example. The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Ox has rarely looked as good as this pair in premium grey nubuck. Most of the accents are tonal greys, save a few hits on the tongue tag and matching red top eyelets. There’s also an interesting leopard print on the liner that just barely peeks out around the ankle collar. You can grab a pair from Japanese e-tailer Kinetics.

In a 2009 where the Blazer probably beat the Dunk in terms of total releases, we saw very little of the Nike Vandal. Here are two pairs of the VNTG High version that matches one of Nike Sportswear’s key themes for Spring ’10: neon with white contrasts (or vice-versa). In these new photos, it appears that the vintage details have been dialed back, but then again, the controlled randomness of ‘aged’ elements means each pair looks a little different. via HS

Reebok just unleashed a torrential downpour of 20th Anniversary Pump collaborations. This teamup with Japan’s XLARGE, then, is sorta like the drip-dropping of gutters after the storm subsides: a simple pleasure in which a keen observer can find immense beauty. The XLARGE x Reebok Pump Omni Lite is simpler than most of the Pump20s, utilizing mostly black, grey and white. It’s this simple base that helps you focus on the dope gradient eyelet wing, whose middle-grey hits pick up some of the same blue light reflected by turquiose and royal blue branding on the rear quarter. Expect them at the best Japanese boutiques come December 4th.

We’re still mildly befuddled by the ‘Phantom’ Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) and its shifting back and forth between metallic accent colours. Don’t confuse this as another version of that shoe, though, as this AML7 is going for a look all its own. Whereas the others were pretty much blacked out, save the metallic parts, these have a healthy dose of white on the mudguard, midsole and Swoosh. Perhaps the nicest feature on this pair is the dual-coloured Flywire strands. The black ones blend in, leaving the gold joints to pop as pinstripes. Stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all LeBron James Nikes. via FC.T
