How many of you found your way to seeing Fritz the Cat or the biopic Crumb after the artist’s Vans series released? Off the Wall continues to highlight some of the greats of modern American art, this time with more inspired by the pen of Robert Crumb. With this Vans Vault Authentic One Piece LX, they’re going straight at the (irony?) bone, using the KOT character that a judge ruled in 1976 Crumb didn’t own. Maybe this is part of the deal to pay the back royalties he was ordered to pay, but in any case is a pointed reminder of how controversial dude’s drawings have been. Celebrate the demented genius and cop these from Wish.
