While everyone is in a frenzy to get holiday shopping done as early as possible, here’s some more product to throw into the mix and confuse consumerism. The Nike SB Holiday 2009 line may seem much more subtle than previous drops but look at it like this: save the bright stuff for spring and summer! Not to mention, it’s nice to see brands start to move away the multi uber-bright colored designs. Like we’ve expressed in the past, simple is sometimes better.
Seen here is Dunk Low, Bruin, Classic High (rather new to the scene), Stefan Janoski, and Veloce… all of which feature rather simple and skater-friendly colorways. The again, the Skate Mental Dunk Highs and the Orange Hemp Dunk Lows offer more vibrant designs. But there’s no surprise there though; we knew SB would offer something different for the Quickstrikes. So the real question is this- do you cop for yourself, sacrifice and give to loved ones, or be sly enough to hint that you’d prefer one of these as a gift?

Six easy passes for me. Not giving Nike SB anymore money till they get off the bullshit bluebox era of cheap materials. There’s gotta be
more to it than just a swoosh for real.
