Mention ‘black and varsity red’ and an Air Jordan collector’s ears will perk up. Add cement grey and military blue to the mix and you’ve got an 88/89 mixtape dream. You know, back when Mikes’ were marketed with “A death-defying, high-flying 360 degree dunk”.
The latest Air Jordan Spiz’ike is a mashup so rich with details from the early days of the series that the ‘Fresh Since 1985′ insoles are spot-on. Set for a Spring 2010 release, these mark the first of what’s sure to be a long and potent anniversary celebration. Imagine our surprise, then, to find that they’re already available today from Japan’s Bingo Runner.

Looking forward to these. Does anyone notice the flaw in one of the pictures above? I hope the production and QA process are little better on the rest of the batch they produce.
