Nike Basketball Fall 2010 Preview – Hyperfuse

Nike Basketball Fall 2010 Preview – Hyperfuse

nike-hyperfuse-2010-preview-04

To this point, all of the ‘Hyper-‘ kicks from Nike Basketball emerged as a single deviation on a previous version.  Hyperdunk begat Hypermax and then Hyperlite, which changed its name to Hyperize and gave birth to the upcoming Max Hyperize.  All of those have Flywire-equipped side panels (save a few notable exceptions) and ankle cut-outs, so where does the new Nike Hyperfuse fit in?

It looks more like the Zoom Skyposite and seems to lack all the unifying characteristics of the Hyper- ballers, except that it’s one hell of a futuristic design.  Instead of Flywire, the side panels (and toes) are covered in what looks to be the new Torch fabric.  You can count on these to be extremely lightweight and breathable, and you’ll see after the jump that it’s a design that looks cool in a variety of colourblocking schemes.  via Kenlu
