Nike’s new Torch fabric is a multilayered mesh that’s good at keeping your feet cool. And that’s especially important for kicks like these, which are pure fire. Here’s a Nike Air Maxim 1 Torch ND sample that has been blessed with a whole lot of what’s been good about the Swoosh over the years. They have a black base that’s nubuck where it’s not Flywire or Torch, which really comes to life by the power of electric yellow and purple accents. Put all of this on a gum sole and it’s a tripped-out modern classic. We really hope these make it to retail, but if they don’t, you might have a nice collectors item in the size 9 that’s avilable from Shoeniverse! on eBay.
