Air Jordan Silver Anniversary releases notwithstanding, there’s never been a more appropriate metallic sneaker than the Nike Foamposite One in the new copper colourway. Penny Hardaway’s only non-”Air Penny” signature simply *needed* to be released in his namesake metallic hue, and here’s our best look at it yet. In about a dozen super closeup photos, you’ll get a good sense for how dope the Dirty Copper foam looks against a scored ankle collar and icey translucent outsole, all after the jump. via Kinstor

my only complaint is that the laces start to close to where the very front of the shoe is, but other than that they’re fucking flawless i have to cop and are these gunna release at like footlocker or finishline, or both?

For those of you lacking the proper grammatical acumen to efficiently tackle the naysayers comments— Here I am. IF you’re not a foamposite-sneakerhead you really wouldn’t understand. It’s a shoe that takes heart to rock. Most cats don’t have the testicular fortitude or style to properly pull these off so they worry about matching up the color scheme, etc. That’s rookie mentality at it’s core. I’m not from DC/VA/MD-NYC/PHILA or any of the east coast cities wheres these bang like porno flicks… but I know that it doesn’t matter which color these drop in 10/10 times they’re getting sold out regardless. It’s guys like us that make this sneaker special, sissies with weak comments need not apply.

I second youngmuggzy85. I’m a female sneakerhead and I am all on these when they drop in the upcoming few months. I think the foamposites are extremely overlooked. I also know people in atlanta will be too afraid to rock them. But then again I’m not so that’s all that matters. Forget clothes sneakers and accessories (fitteds, watches etc) make an outfit. Goodnight!!!

Yea, these are insanely hot. You can sub them for brown kicks as long as your outfit isn’t ridiculously busy (same with yellow, to a lesser extent).
But yo, number 11, the short toebox is one of the best parts about the Foamposite One! Have you ever seen them in person? This simple feature makes even some of the largest sizes look (nearly) as proportionate as the samples.
Consider that every single colourway has been a banger, that it was so far ahead of its time that the design is *still* too futuristic for most, and that scalability for bigger feet and these have to be in the all-time pantheon.
Seriously, don’t even argue about it. The Nike Foamposite One is an aesthetically-perfect sneaker that has aged beautifully and is still comfy even with tech from nearly 15 years ago!

hahaha this is crazy im from boston and i just got these copper joints for 109 at a store called eblens people around this area have no swag so they would never expect to find them here so while u guys are spending yall pay checks i got my joints at a good deal….
