For Almond and New Balances seventh collabo, here is a look at the New Balance M574A that has been customized with bright red, orange and yellow to mimic the look of a toy car which is also the main character of Japanese comic Dash! Air Jordan VI (6) January Heat Poster by Osneaker

Back in November, Osneaker turned a lot of heads with their new take on the classic Sole Collector Air Jordan XI Girls poster, this time using the Space Jams to add a little extra spice to the mix. Now we get a look at another steamy new visual for the sneaker obsessed. This tribute to the Black/Red Air Jordan VI features half the girls of the previous versions, but makes up for it with some extra kicks strewn about the composition. We know that a lot of you are patiently waiting for these kicks to drop, but in the meantime, you can admire them for an entirely different reason thanks to this provocative new poster. The photo was shot by Matt Fried. If you like what you see, you can get your own January Heat poster now from Osneaker.

Air Jordan Force VIII (8) Fusion Black Varsity Purple Aqua Tone Preview

Thought you were rid of Jordan Force Fusions, didn’t ya?  Not just yet.  Although Jordan and Nike has moved on with several other hybrids, JB stays persistent with the AJF series.  Now onto another Jordan fave, the Aqua VIII.  There really much that can be said without already knowing how this was going to be executed.  Jordan 8 upper, X-straps and all, laid upon an AF1 sole.  The material applications stay true to the original form, taking on nubuck and synthetic.  Should be interesting to see how the purple and aqua take on an Air Force sole.  What does look a bit peculiar is how the heel extends that ribbed look, but then again – there has to be some modifications to assimilate to the new tooling.  Expect these to drop around March 2010.  via FC.T

Air Jordan XII (12) White Varsity Red Release Reminder

Last, but certainly not least of this year’s Air Jordan XII Retros is the only one that comes in an OG colourway.  This is the one many were expecting upon hearing about the ‘Rising Sun’ AJXII, given this particular pair’s direct resemblance to a historical Japanese battle flag.  Those turned out to be a new colourup, but older sneakerheads will remember these from Chicago’s 69-win season in 1996-97.  If you missed the December ’96 and/or grew out of your old pairs (and we’re guessing one of these two has to be the case), then cop yours when they drop tomorrow, Saturday, December 19th.

Nike SB Dunk Low Chirping Bird Coming Soon

Here’s another look at the upcoming Nike Dunk Low Pro SB in the Black/Varsity Red colourway, dubbed the “Chirping Bird”. The upper features black denim, a seldom used material on a Nike SB, a black patent swoosh, a white-red midsole/sole combination, and a premium lined interior akin to the Nike Dunk Low SB Gibson and the exterior of the Nike Dunk SB Three Bears Pack. So why the name “Chirping Bird”? Well, turns out these SBs are a treat for both the eyes AND the ears: a simple pinch of the tongue will produce a sound of a chirping bird. These are slated for an early 2010 release, but a pre-order is available at Arktz.

fragment design x Nike Zoom Tennis Classic New Images

We’ve updated the fragment design x Nike collaborations in, well, fragments. The other day we showed you some detailed images of the Hiroshi Fujiwara designed Nike Footscape Motion; now check out some images of his Nike Tennis Classic. The all-white design with a perforated swoosh is paired flawlessly with a gold ankle-heel and tongue branding, and the Waffle Racer Nike font really adds a vintage touch. Finally, Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design emblem is branded on the rear heel, and the subtlety in the design speaks volumes. These are slated to be released in January 2010 as Asia exclusives. via Hypebeast.

Nike Zoom Skyposite Amare Stoudemire PE Available on eBay

Amare Stoudemire’s PE Skyposite has made quite a buzz for itself since we first saw it a few months back.  Though it sports a similar colorway, and a gradient fade, like Kobe’s Away-Edition Gradient IV’s, make no mistake, this man is doing big things for The Suns.  The black and purple Skyposite transition its colors through a horizontal fade right above the midsole.  Definitely a clean pair, although we also look forward to Amar’e also rocking the Eggplant joints.  Scoop up a pair of Skyposite PE’s on eBay from the RMKstore.

Air Jordan CP3.III Chris Paul Signature Sneaker Official Introduction

Chris Paul took the league by storm upon his entrance in 2004. By his second year, he was touted as the best floor general in the league, and his on-court efforts awarded him a spot on the Western Conference All-Star team and among the top vote-getters for the League MVP trophy. His unparalleled talent paired with his work ethic led to his being hand-picked by Michael Jordan to represent the elite group of athletes to carry on the Jordan Brand name, and after two great Chris Paul signature shoes, the third installment of Jordan CP3 signature line is set to drop in mere weeks.

Jordan Brand has never before seen a player of Chris Paul’s caliber on Team Jordan; to reciprocate, Jordan Brand has featured a never-before-seen cushioning system called “Podulon”, an evolved form of the Independent Podular Suspension system seen on the revolutionary Air Jordan XX. Podulon has been engineered to complement Chris Paul’s explosive style of play, and the technology behind this cutting-edge cushioning is meant to maintain responsiveness and comfort.

The design of the CP3.III is as personal as it gets; a hornet was the muse in the conception of this shoe, and additional  touches like a “Family Crest” depicting his family and a the number 28 to represent the length of his parents’ marriage are just some of the heartfelt applications on the CP3.III. Chris Paul deems his third signature shoe as his “most comfortable basketball shoe yet”. You can see for yourself on the day after Christmas when limited edition of the Jordan CP3.III is set to drop, or wait until January 2, 2010 for the official release. via Freshnessmag.

Nike Blazer AC High LE Cool Grey + Red

Combine velcro and the Nike Blazer, two revolutionaries in the world of fasteners and kicks respectively, and you get Nike Blazer AC High LE. This combination of decade old ideas has presented itself today, providing style and practicality. A recent Dark Cinder colourway of the Nike Blazer High dropped at 21 Mercer not too long ago, but here are two pairs for those who yearn for some color and flash. On the tongue tag, you’ll find a silhouette of a statue of Nike. Available for overseas purchase at Flauge.
